cant understand coldvotes. Cheaper by £30 pounds compared to other sellers

Seems like a good deal, but maybe I'm missing something, but how do you get the free delivery its showing up as £13.38 for me.

excellent TV. got one and love it!

HOT surely. You've got to jump on this if its free delivery. Although I got the Tosh 37a3030 delivered free from dabs last week for 450 because I only need one hdmi and they chucked in a free lcd tv stand.

But this set is rated highly at the 550 price bracket so I would have definitely gone for this if I hadn't already got the Tosh.

You have to go directly through quidco to get the delivery to come up as £0.00

What is the connection between the BT shop and DABS? They always have identical offers and their website runs in exactly the same way. DABS also have this Samsung at 449 with free delivery as well.

they are sister companies, i.e. basically they are the same

BT bought dabs a few years ago. Clearly the BT Shop a skinned version of Dabs.

Thanks, didnt realise I had to go through quidco for free delivery.

Would have used it anyway, but with delivery it was just that little bit to much, so put me off when I looked.

But at 449 delivered its an awesome price, ordered and voted hot.

Thanks Op and maryk for telling me how to get the free delivery

P.s I don't know why this isn't hotter, seems to me like one of the better tv deals

Good price, great TV. We have the 32" version - well the Curries/Dixons one and it is very good. Note that there is a new range out now - I have no idea if the new ones are significantly better (or worse) though.

Excellent price. Paid £20 more for a 32" version a year ago... and that was cheap at the time!

Paid £399 for the 32" from Costco a while back.

I'd definitely pay £50 for an extra 5 inches. ooer

I bought this TV from Play and got it delivered at £454 (after Quidco & Voucher) so at this price....I'd grab it....brilliant TV!

lol i can get it for £445.26 inc vat

but i just bought the 40 inch version for £672 before xmas, the prices are dropping like hell on these, and may invest in a nice new bravia soon, any one know of any good deals on some bose cinema surround to compliment these tvs? as the sound is **** on all these lcds except for sony bravias :x

Great price for a 37", just a shame theres no 1080p;-)

Quidco doesn't work for me.

I am waiting for a 40" 1080p top brand LCD to drop below my umbrella price of £500. This deal is great, which makes me think my waiting for the £500 limit is almost over!!

Rail Massive, - "lol i can get it for £445.26 inc vat"

Where can you get it for that price??

Thanks,

paid £589 from john lewis. amazing tv.
for this price its a no brainer. im happy with it costing me £589 so almost £150 less. get one

just brought one of these £503 (529 with 5% off) got delivered yesterday from play.

absolutly gutted

I have the 32 version, so tempted with this. the problem with TV's coming down in price so much is that they have little to no resale value.

Dont be dumb, there is zero point wanting 1080p on anything under 42 and even then it depends on how well the source quality is / encoding

how many scarts does this tv got, i know its got 3 hdmi

What is the recommended viewing distance for the 32 vs the 37? What is the guestimated resale value? I've never seen any in our local paper 2nd hand.

hi mate

yes if you work for bt, you get a slight discount from dabs.com, and this tv is available from there at the low price, as someone mentioned, no difference between 1080p on tv below 42 inch, trust em i know, not noticeable at all, although i still think a 37" is a little bit small, but each tio their own, :whistling:

Would this tv be suitable for watching football on - I hear it suffers from motion blur?

Have a read through this thread on AVForums

avforums.com/for…376

Its a long thread but you might find your answer

I got this tv about 2 months ago from currys who price matched dixons in store for me for £499. It is an amazing tv and i love it! if you're thinking of buying one i could defo reccomend it. I use it for xb360 and the picture is amazing! Also i only found out the other week it has sound output via red white thingy and also a slot for optical on the back. Plug one of these into your sound sytem and ANYTHING plugged into the tv will play through the sound system! ie tv, freeview (which is also built in), ps3, xb360 dvd wii etc etc. It also still plays out of the tv speakers at the same time for them quieter moments ie gta @ 3am lol

Would the following Toshiba be better for an extra £40?

from my experience with all lcds and plasmas, i have yet to see one of these flat screen tvs not suffer from this mate, footie is always the same, and i have tried tweaking it, cant stop it, my brother in laws samsung plasma is also the same, my old tube toshiba kicks **** on all the tvs i have ever owned and also the sound is much better

Cheers for that rail massive.

Is there any difference between the warranties on BT and DAB's? Or is it just the bog standard 12 months?

Just ordered Heat and Rep given to the OP.

Did anyone else who ordered get this bit in the confirmation email:

Dear Mr X,

PLEASE NOTE: This email is for your reference only. We have not accepted your
order at this stage. Only when we confirm our acceptance of your order in writing
will a contract exist between us. If we do not accept your order, we will of
course refund any payment taken from your debit or credit card.

Is this just standard procedure when ordering on the BT Shop?
