If you use the DIXON5 voucher to get 5% discount the LE40C530 is even cheaper than the recent Amazon deal. I know Dixons is not the best service retailer, but if you want this TV cheap then this seems to be the best price.

I didn't bother posting this as it was £360 a few months ago so not much of a saving.

It's a pretty good saving for now with the vat rise and general prices at the moment.

i prefer the le40c580, looking for a good deal with 5 year warranty. so far its 495 at richer sounds, got a week to find better.

The 580 has an ethernet port that enables you to stream videos over the network, its currently £425 on Amazon but hoping it drops under £400.

Paid £399 for this at the beginning of January from Dixons online, excellent tv for the money.

these are £360 including vat if you have a Makro store nearby

I'm looking for LE40C580 too, warranty not an issue for me, if you find anything good let me know!
Cheers!

Any real advantage to the c580? I have the c580 but for Xbox I can't see any reason the c530 would be inferior

Whats a good option for getting a 5 year warranty on these? JL price match?

On the contrary: Quidco specifically states that cashback does apply even with the use of this voucher.

Forgot to mention that the 530 displays 24p perfectly, the 580 lacks 24p support.

I was hoping the 580 would have had a firmware upgrade for this by now.

Not as yet from what I can see on Google however to the untrained eye it's not something that will be noticed but those who know what to look for could see a slight difference. To me 24p means nothing as I'm not that tech savvy and probably won't notice any difference.

There's actually talk of it here: hotukdeals.com/dea…269 if thats any use.
