Anyone know if the difference to this one...

Just the Freeview HD???

dont get 508, it does not support 24p video playback which is essential when watching bluerays/dvds.

get the 503, it supports 24p but lacks the additional hdmi port.

580 is superior in screen and the electronics.

As cold as my bumcheeks right about now lmao

Unless you want to watch Freeview HD of course which is why I bought the C580 for £358 last week from Amazon (warehouse deal).

580 has a superior display. Colours etc will be sharper. Was £400 last week on Amazon but now back up to £422. For the sake of £40 id get the 580

i want to use it for alot of ps3 gaming, sky (hoping to get sky hd multiroom) and occasional dvd/bluray.

i cant get all the channels from freeview, my aerial is old so the freeview hd not of any concern to me, but an added bonus. i bought best buy toshiba 40" tv and its the worst tv ever for sd picture, my 3 year old 37" toshiba regza is alot better.

Don't know what the Sony is like but I have this TV and it's great with SD pictures, specially through the Sky box. I also use mine as a PC monitor and game on it, Bad Company 2 & Vietnam look great on it and I don't notice any screen lag at all. Can also add that HD channels look superb on this telly, I have no complaints about mine at all!

as other people said, I wouldn't go for the C580 as it lacks true 24p support.
