It doesn't mention the glasses but they used to come in the box as far as i was aware so samsung may have pulled that promo.

I bought this on the currys deal and there was a pair of glasses in the box

If the glasses are included this is a fantastic deal. Good specification irrespective of 3D

bought this tv from comet £850 with FREE .3 pairs of glasses and 3d blu ray player highly recommend it

not bad, heat added.

All this 3D TV does not do it for me at all. I could not be bothered with all the trouble of sitting with stupid glasses on. Until they have a 3D TV that you don't have to wear glasses with I think I will just stick with my 50" HD TV in the meantime without having to wear a stupid pair of glasses.

You'll be waiting a long time.

I don't see what the issue is with wearing glasses for an hour and half to watch a movie? You go on like you need to wear them 24/7. Just because you have a 3dtv does not mean everything you watch has to be in 3d.

The technology is here already. A company brought the most amazing glasses free 3d tv into our work and they convert movies and adverts into 3G as it is so much better. Just still very very expensive

What's happened to the 46". It's price is frozen.

exactly, 3d is just a fad for the moment, i rather watch on my 42" that look like a total knobhead watchin with a set of glasses on.
plus technology is on way that we wont need glasses for 3d, few yrs off, but i rather wait

The problem with 3D tv's is that the glasses are not compatible.
If you buy a Samsung tv and buy six pairs for the family which is expensive then decide to buy a Sony tv then you have to buy the glasses again.

I wouldn't buy a 3D tv until they were cheaper and compatible.

Then you have to buy the hdmi 1.4 amp and blueray player and 1.4 cables.
Or subscribe to $$$ky rip-off HD.

After all that, there are only a hand full of movies and a few tv shows. You could watch the whole lot in a couple of days.

You can't get Avatar 3D until 2012 unless you buy a Panasonic who have the rights.

Why are the 3D tvs so expensive, it's only a 100Hz input signal.

The tv industry are not helping 3D by the premium costs, lack of content and incomparable glasses.

3D tv without glasses will add more expense.

3D is old news now. 4D is the future, Madam Tussauds got it right with their 4D experiance. Not long we will be saying "remember the time you could watch films in 3 dimensions."

There only will be a small number at each store and they will try to sell you a different TV. Tried to get a TV last year in their sale waited in a long line for about an hour. Nice chap from the store giving out coffee but will not tell you the stock level, only that there was 4 when the sale started. Got to the front and most people wanted the same TV. As I walked back past the line of people and shouted that the TV was out of stock and many left without having to wait an hour. Good Luck.

I bought this tv a while back and to be fair its a cracking set even if you forget about the 3D aspect. (You can't get Avatar 3D until 2012 unless you buy a Panasonic who have the rights.) funny that because i am prepairing to watch it this afternoon on the sky 3d channel.

Wow, look at those two 20" and 12" beauties.

Twice the price and half the size. Well spotted.

You will be waiting a long time. It can only be respectably done at a lower screen size, 12" and 20".

By the time the bigger screens come in and you can see the effect in more than a 40 degree angle and an affordable price, without having to sit within a metre of the screen.
It will be a long time...
$2,800 USD for a 20" screen as a main living room viewing system, where only 1 person could probably watch it. No thanks.

None in stock in the Birmingham branch unfortunately but good deal
