Monitor typically goes for £400. Best price previously was £330. I have the comparable LG model which is fantastic, from my research this seemed to be the higher quality one.

Remember, this isn't a 16:9 flat monitor! This is ultrawide (which is more expensive) and curved (which is more expensive). Ultrawide and curved together cost a bit more as well.
1080p vertical resolution looks awful at that size, but might be OK for gaming if you are OK with a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz (many are not).
I've been researching ultra wides for weeks and now I'm on the lookout got one. Has to be 3440x1440 res for me though.

Still these are much cheaper! People have said good things even on lower res though so long as u don't get 34" at 1080 lol

Thank you very much OP, I've been after a curved Ultra wide ever since I broke my 29 inch LG ultra wide but never seen one for less then 350. Personally, 21:9 is one of the best innovations to come to PC gaming in a long time, i just wish more developers would support it.

These 'no pixel is tiny enough' comments are getting absurd.

This is the same 28.6cm vertical height as a 23" 1920x1080 screen. If you've got great eyesight AND your screen close enough that there's barely enough room for a keyboard and mouse in front of it then you might find the pixels big enough to look 'awful', allowing for some exaggeration. For everyone else it's perfectly fine, and some people would be better off looking at the 34" models (27" 16:9 equivalent).

Using this exact model everyday and I feel the resolution is right, could be higher but looks fine to me even for gaming. Remember this is an ultrawide so vertical height is not as big as the 29" suggests as EndlessWaves has said and it's the same height as my old 23" monitor.

It's good because it's expensive.

It's typical for any monitor other than than the most basic 16:9 flat panel to be voted cold.

£120 discount over normal and £50 cheaper than ever...it would be a lot better if people who don't have a clue didn't vote so anyone that wants the deal could see it.

Height wise, 21:9 29 inch is close to a 24 inch 16:9. So a vertical of 1080 may be more acceptable.

The LG version of the monitor is a 75Hz monitor and has FreeSync. For a higher res and refresh rate you are going to be paying a lot to get it in combo with ultrawide + curved.

Its good to know it was worthwhile posting! The worst thing about these monitors is that they make other 16:9 screens look square/4:3 haha! The curve is very subtle on the LG model I have (I did get it cheaper than the flat one so I'm not too bothered) but on the Samsung it is a greater curve, it is probably in the sweet spot of improving the view without being distracting.
It curves the wrong way. What's the point of a monitor that I can't see from the side? cold

You point the monitor towards you rather than having it face away LOL.
