looks good OP.

I did get this LC32JG50QQUXEN when it was on sale for £259 otherwise I'd get this.

Probably. It is a good price. I was expecting 1080p at this price.
I hav just ordered the 27 inch Samsung that I posted 20 mins before this. (Model CF27FG70)

Seems the PS4 Pro doesn't support 21:9, or 144Hz. Tough choice
Everyone else - Flicker Free = Flicker Free
Samsung - Flicker Free = wait for a review
Cracking price, if I didn't also have the C32JG50 would be all over this!
So does this do 75Hz or not? 60Hz is putting me off this, but 1440p Ultrawide and 34" for under £300.00 is very good, preordered it anyway give me a couple of weeks to make my mind up. for My sons Birthday early next year, getting a new PC build for xmas, buyign all the parts will put it together with him on Xmas Day but he wants a new monitor too.

Lucky lad, but not much difference between 60hz and 75hz TBH, not much to be put off by for me.

Got to agree with you, looks like it will be 60hz then.

Is this 4K?
rev620/10/2018 22:48

Nope

Close though? 3400? Isn’t 4K like 3800 or something?

If you look at the manual, HDMI port 2 will support both 60 and 75Hz (see screenshot below).

Is it standard for these not to come with any USB ports at all?

Good Job, Thanks for digging up the manual. however, it's sad that HDMI 1 only supports up to 50Hz, so strange !

Ahh nice one, feel better now, lol.. but 75hz on freesync is just so much better.
Also other pages make reference including using Display port and a List of resolutions and supported refresh rates.

3840 x 2160 pixels on a 16:9 screen 4K on a 21:9 screen would be 5120 × 2160

this is 1440p on 21:9 so 3440 x 1440 or 2,560 x 1,440 on 16:9

So

Standard 4K would be 8,294,400 pixels or over 11million on Ultrawide

1440p is 3,686,400 pixels or Just under 5 million on Ultrawide

With those numbers its called 2K but is not even that really.

Thanks for clarification. Was reading an article about a guy who managed 120FPS in 4K, tweaktown.com/art…tml so looking out for a monitor that will somehow support testing this. This is the closest I have found: m.newegg.com/pro…229
hang on... it's 50Hz? wat?
ah, thanks, just saw the refresh rate in the manual and got confused (hdmi port 1)

60-75Hz

I've pre-ordered this but I'm a bit worried about input lag since I can find no reviews. I'll keep an eye out for any reviews but will keep my options open for cancelling.

Its brand new. That's why no reviews.
It's a VA panel so it should be fine.

Yeah I get that. Which is why I'll be watching. Sometimes units get sent out early for review. Hopefully, before the pre-orderes do.
VA panels have higher lag than TN or IPS, and the headline MS figure can be a bit misleading for VA, as you can get lots of smearing with grey colour transitions.

That's like half price of current 34 inch models. It's probably going to be awful

I'm not so worried about pixel response, although the smearing on my VA panel TV can be annoying in dark scenes. It's input lag I'd like to know. The millisecond figure they put on the specs are meaningless in this regard.
dont need it. pre ordered anyway. lets see if i change my mind by release date

I really wouldn't bother with 4k at 27 inches.
Ideally around 39inches you will really see the beauty of 4k on a monitor.
In terms of large screens that can do 4k@120hz only thing I've seen is a Korean monitor called wasabi.
Can buy from eBay cost about £1200 though!
There's meant to be some new larger 4k@120hz monitors coming out this year.
But will be around the same price.

Thanks for the information. I currently have the Alienware AW3418DW which is still retailing at 1150, so I’ll see if I can sell and put towards one of these 4K monitors.
yeah decided i'm waiting for reviews
