If only it was curved

I've got a curved UW monitor and would happily swap it for a flat one. I dont see what it adds at all.

LED

LED is the backlight. I want to know panel type ie ips or va or tn
I wish there were options for this resolution on 29” models.
Great price.

I think the default freesync FPS is 75hz if you enable it, but 60hz otherwise.
anyone know if the freesync on this would be compatible with nvidia gpus yet i remember an old list that was mainly asus/acer but dont know how far they expanded with that

NO!!!... I needed it to be natively supported so that I can overclock more, even if it's a little more.
I love the quality of samsung!!!
do I need a powerful graphics card for this screen? Will it run smoothly attached to an ultrabook with Intel i5 5257U, 8GB RAM and an integrated graphics card?
Amazing deal!!!! - Would get but got a great deal on an LG 34 a few months back. HUKD prevented me from sharing the deal for some weird reason. (it was direct from LG)

Depends what you mean. Can you plug it in and run it? probably. Can you run something in that resolution? probably not.
I'm not asking about playing videos in 4k, was more about 'can I run two programmes or two excel spreadsheets next to each other so that my laptop won't explode? or would I rather need a proper graphics card for this?'

No it should be fine for that. Just check that you can output this resolution just in case. Although a 5th gen intel should, and I'm running it off a 4th generation Intel integrated graphics (desktop though).

for working on multiple spreadsheets you are going to love this resolution. I used to have 2x 27 inch 1440p screens side by side which was more real easte but this is far more comfortable to use

Shame it isn't curved, but its a very small compromise for the price.

So in layman's terms, it's well suited to current generation console gaming.

Nothing about your comment makes sense.

I can't work out if you're trying to take the PCMR high road and look down on console gamers, despite most console games struggling to hit 30fps, let alone 60 or even 75 these days.... Or you're just a very poor troll.
nice find, expecting quality image view on this one

Nope, just saying that the majority of console games are maxed out at 60fps so monitors with refresh rate of 60Hz are better for console gaming, not trolling or doing that PC mustard race thing at all.

I recon that's a bad data glitch, referring to a smaller model. I can't imagine it ever selling at that price, and if so this website would have been all over it!!!

Yeah totally. Not that concerned, but I would be exceptionally surprised, especially since camelcamelcamel doesn't show it either.
Got this monitor last Black Friday for £139.99!! And I can honestly say I would still pay full price for it! Incredible monitor

Have they changed the way Prime is handled? I share Prime with someone else and still showing as having Prime delivery but while my account shows the discount on the main screen, when I add to basket the price goes back up to full. If I log in with the person who has the Prime account, it shows the discount all the way through.

Weird, just tried it with a Garmin watch and the discount does show at the checkout

Edit - Must have been a glitch, gone through ok now

Added to basket and saved for later so that I can watch the price srop on black friday. Thanks for the heads up!
