The user manual with all details can be downloaded on the bottom of that page (for those who like to get into the nitty gritty of the specification details).

Is this considered a ultrawide?

No, its normal wide screen. 16:9
Heat added. What it needs is thinner bezels to make it perfect.
I'm tempted. Hot
Ok I made up my mind will sell my dell s2817q and buy this thank you x
Actually can anyone find any review for this? It's only 60 refresh rate
Why is there no retailer hype about the QLED? Isnt Quantum Dot supposed to be better than LED?
I wonder what panel this one uses, as my last BenQ 32" 4K had the typical half screen glitches associated with the 2x2K TCON panels that they all seem to use..../

Can't seem to find reviews or other information on this one.

Mine is arriving tomorrow so I can see if there are any issues.

Thanks. Please keep us posted.

Being a VA panel it should have all the characteristics that you would expect it to have - for me that would mean a pretty good picture without the IPS glow and hopefully minimal black crush or smearing. Please check for the smearing if you can when playing games.

I didn't find Windows or certain applications to scale that well for 4k but overall my experience was pretty good except for the very annoying half screen glitching found on the 32" panel that the BenQ used. The same panel is used in many other 4k monitors, including those produced by Acer.

Seems to be a good price, even tho Freesync would be no good for my Nvidia card.

This is going to be my 3rd monitor, off to the left of my main which is the 165hz Acer predator IPS 27" which has g sync as I too have an nvidia card.

I'll use as an additional monitor for pc via display port and then main monitor for the Xbox one X via HDMI. I avoided the Acer predator 4k 32" for the exact reasons you mention. Here's hoping this VA panel is better. Hdmi 2.0 is a main selling point for me too as the acer only had HDMI 1.4 so can't be used for Xbox one x 60hz 4k, that was only possible with display port.

I'll update tomorrow.
I have 1 hour to decide so I can get it for tomorrow lol.
Best of luck to you, unless you have the monitor Gods on your side I'm afraid that much of getting a good one is still down to a panel lottery. Well that's how I feel.
Buying a new monitor is my least favourite hardware buying experience.
I need some help deciding.
Ok made up my mind, ordered.
Got mine, it's alright. Doesn't come with a dp cable which is a shame. Oh well eBay it is.

Hi, you say, it's alright. can you tell me more? quality of the picture, viewing angles, colours. Any screen uniformity issues?
I actually ordered it today for delivery tomorrow and was hoping someone bought it to post a genuine opinion
The quality seems fine, the colours seem a bit dull though I haven't played around with the settings yet. I briefly played gta V and that did look pretty good. I can only compare this to my dell s2817q and Asus pb287q.

Received mine today and set up. Looks great via display port cable on PC. Tried some 4k Netflix, Xbox one X and YouTube all of which looks excellent. Really impressed for the price, colours and contrast beat out my £500 acer predator ips from 2017.

It has some nice picture in picture features and more customisation of image than expected.

Panel is uniform for me with decent viewing angles, no dead pixels etc.

Overall I am happy and will be keeping it.
You definitely need to calibrate it to get the best colours, once this is done it's brilliant.

Ah, that's a relief. I bought the Acer 32" curved from pcworld at 279 and that was really bad, returned it yesterday and now hoping the Samsung will be much better, i guess i'll wait tomorrow.
thanks for the feedbacks
Thinking of getting this for my bedroom, bit concerned as to how it will look when playing on my PS4 as I’ll be sitting at the other side of the room. Currently play on a 24” old monitor I have and it’s pretty bad especially with small text. Basically hope it’s a worthwhile upgrade

You may be better off going for one of the 4k Samsung TVs that can be had for £300-350ish (40-42").
Yeah was debating that.. I have a 42” in the living room and it’s good for that room size but think it would look too big in the bedroom. My thinking is 32 is the right size for the room.
just received mine and i am just amazed at how good and bright it is, colours are fantastic. definitely a keeper

It does say QLED on website samsung.com/uk/…90/

Are you keeping yours? I'm still unsure.

I think the marketing images are slightly misleading as the previous model clearly pushed QLED as a main selling point. You're right, the title on the official website states QLED for this monitor but it isn't mentioned much more than that.

All I know having owned the monitor for almost a week is the colours are excellent once set up. Better than both IPS monitors I have sitting next to it. Works brilliantly for Xbox one x and PC gaming at 4k (played some witcher 3 4k 60fps on ultra and it still holds its own today). I watched ready player one on bluray (1080p) earlier in the week and it looks excellent. Just bought matrix 4k to have a watch of over the weekend.

For £350 I'm very pleased with the performance and will definitely be keeping it.

As a side note, make sure your graphics card settings (nvidia in my case) is set to display full RGB ranges in the settings to allow the deepest blacks to show, for some reason it was disabled by default in my system.

Thanks I'll check my Nvidia control panel settings. One annoying thing I've noticed is when I power on the monitor doesn't pick up the signal and I have to turn it off and on then select display port each time.

You're right for the price it's very good. It was a good find thanks

I had a similar thing via display port but it seems to work over hdmi. There is a manual or auto setting for source selection in the settings menu, try to have a play with manual to see if it then picks up signal straight away.
This is a QLED monitor: samsung.com/uk/…90/

It's also a 10-bit panel (I think the reason why it didn't get 10-bit certification is due to the low 270 cd/m^2 peak brightness), so IMO this is a steal.
to be honest for the price, colours, resolution and size it's really a good one and definitely keeping it.
Can anyone comment on if this is good enough to run the pro on? Was thinking of getting a 1440p monitor but heard the pro downscales to 1080p, is this true?
