Samsung ME732K 20L 800W Standard Microwave £59.99 - Argos

Samsung ME732K 20L 800W Standard Microwave £59.99 - Argos

Found 3rd Aug 2017Edited by:"format"
Been on the look out for a microwave with a decent interior as most cheap ones tend to peel & rust after a year. Found this on clearance at argos with a "Ceramic Enamel interior" (it's all speckly and shiny), just reduced today. It's a microwave, it has buttons, you can push one to put it in eco mode (no power consumption, led with clock turns off but still keeps time). 800w so you get your rustlers burger 10seconds quicker.

Ordered mine fast track and picked it up from a sainsburys argos desk an hour later, seems to be loads of stock going. Claims to have been £75 but i can't find the same model elsewhere for comparison - a more basic dial one seems to be currys deal of the week at £80

  • Microwave power output 800 watts.
  • Defrost option.
General information:

  • Anti-bacterial interior.
  • Interior capacity 20 litres.
  • 25.5cm diameter rotating turntable.
  • Size H27.5, W48.9, D32cm.

Picture does show a white model for some reason but i picked mine up straight away and can assure you it's plain black.

Too small for most tasks .

what are these most tasks? I am currently without a Microwave since last one died, and have been looking around at options lately. The smaller size is 17L. 20L is at worse standard size and the most common size. There are not anywhere near as many options with 23L size.

what tasks exactly can a 20L microwave not accomplish? genuinely interested to know.
You cannot heat a pizza in one or use microwave rice cooker or most microwave utensils inside this small microwave. And it is not cheap either.

fits anything i'd ever need it for
Doesn't look that small. A pizza as suggested is all I can think of, but then who really heats a pizza in the microwave (unless it is a fancy oven one?), I'd use my cooker oven to reheat a pizza, even then the wife who is the pizza eater in the house never gets anything bigger than a 10".

20L seems good for putting on a shelf (saves worktop space), I had my last microwave wall shelf mounted.

£60 quid is cheap for a Samsung Microwave. I would have snapped this up myself, but I need a Silver one to match the rest of the kitchen appliances and theme.

I am looking at this for £79

Samsung MS23F301EAK Solo Microwave, 23L - Black

Not as Silver as I would like, happens to be 23L Keeping an eye out for a good buy, I like the Samsung brand, but need to get something sooner or later, reheating Chinese meals in the oven or wok sucks.
