Spent over a week trying to find a decent microwave for a good price, they all seem to rust within a year unless you get one that has stainless steel cavity, but they cost so much more! this one boasts that it uses a special painted coating that is 7 times stronger, hope they are right, fed up replacing microwaves, they used to last ages, now you are lucky to get one lasting a year!

Cheers for that! I'm also looking to replace ours and hadn't realised! Think I'll take a punt myself! Have some heat!

How are you getting it to £69.99?

Code given only seems to reduces price to £79?

a lot of the microwaves are reduced to clear in my store (bellshill) and are cheaper than what is on the website..not going to vote either way,but i would have a look instore before purchasing online as more often than not all the stores will have them reduced.

So probably would have actually saved overall if paid the extra for stainless steel?! I've never had a microwave rust on me, but I think mine have always been stainless interiors, but I wouldn't say expensive either - had a Goodmans for 5 years and current Panasonic was in a sale about 4 years ago or so and going strong.

I would agree with what you said, it seems to be a recent phenomenon with many microwaves being built in the same factory and re badged, before last year, my microwaves lasted 4 to 5 years too. I think it is a scam so we can throw them away when the guarantee runs out!

Tesco's e-voucher offer (£10 off £75) is negated by increased price (at least for this product) so really no deal then atm.

I've had my Samsung microwave for 14 years and it's still going strong. When it eventually bites the dust I will definitely get another Samsung as such good quality. Nice find OP
