watch out, cheap but you only get 1/3 toner cart with it and replacements cost almost as much as this (or around £25 i think for refurb ones from a famous auction site).
still great printers though i've bought about 5 from this series.

I bought it earlier today, for £50.82.
Just add something costing £4.02 or more to get free delivery, I chose some aone 10pk dual layer dvds for £4.29.

It's a good cheap printer, will print about 600-800pages with included toner.

Don't buy these..

Replacement toner is about £50 and it only does 1500 pages ( low by laser printer standards)
Refilling does not work as they have chips on the toners. The printer counts the number of pages and after so many it won't print until you put a new toner ( with a new chip) in the printer.

Then just buy a new chip or a remanufactured toner with a reset chip.

£50 for a laser printer is ok... the clour laser is only around £20-30 more... so might be worth the extra.

Are you sure that no refill applies to this model?

That company normally ships chips with its toner if a chip is required.
I've refilled & rechipped many HP models using above co's products and if a rechip is required it is normally specifically mentioned on the printer model's toner page.

Yep. i bought a bottle of refill toner off ebay. The seller stated the low toner light stays on but it still prints. It did until it had printed 2100 pages ( i think it was this amount but can't recall the exact number) This is including the 700 or so printed with the toner originally in the starter cartridge. Then it does not alow you to print any more because it has a page counter. Once it has printed a set amount of pages on one cartridge it stops you printing until you fit a new toner cartridge ( with a new chip on it ).

I wonder if refilltoner has made the same mistake as the company i bought from - thinking it allows you to carry on printing indefinately after refilling.
There is a work round but it involves dismantling the printer and shorting wires on one of the chips on the circuitboard to upset the page counter.
Details on work around ( for ML1640 and ML2240 ) fixyourownprinter.com/for…558

I have to agree 1500 is a bit low for £50 toner, must be what makes it slim.

further confirmation of refil problems
consumablcafe are working on a reset chip ( due this month)

interesting.. never had to worry about chips with the 1610, 2010 or 2570 - seems to be models ending 40 that have this chip nonsense?
on the other hand.. i've never had any luck refilling these carts, won't print well, always have to replace whole cart (but don't have to be genuine carts).
