I've just onto amazon about our microwave that we bought in November and packed up at the weekend. After several minutes on chat/phone they told me to put it in a bin bag and return it to them! Are going to refund me.

I’ve got this microwave saved on my shopping list, what’s preventing me from buying is all the mentions of the very dark tinted window… sometimes you need to keep a watch of what’s heating up!

Yeah I have a similar model, you can't see inside as there's also no light.

We've got the MS28F303TAS which is the 28 litre 1000W version and it is great.

This is 23l, the other one is 20l. It depends what size you want. What I like at Samsung is ceramic coating, which makes it easier to clean. But I prefer flatbed microwaves anyway. (edited)

I have a similar version and it's pretty big! Not for some smaller kitchens!

I've had a Samsung microwave for about 8 years.
It's mostly been very reliable, except the rotary knob used to set the time has been iffy for well over half that time. It needs a lot of twiddling to set the time. I tried taking the cover off to spray contact cleaner on the switch internals, but it's too well covered up.

I note this model carries over the same rotary knob for setting the time.

Mine also has a reliable & simple rotary knob for setting the power, but they have deleted that.

Sounds like I have the same one. It is like breaking into an old bank safe sometimes. Only other issue, the turntable suddenly cracked down the middle recently with a loud bang. However, it has lasted a long time and a lot of abuse from kids over cooking stuff and burning things as a result.
I have ordered a new turntable for now and will see how long til it dies.
