Hahahahahhahahaha. Literally just set these bad boys up. Got it for 667 from John Lewis who match appliances direct. Also got the Sony xe93 so good for the offer. Very very very hot deal..... If you are also planning on getting a tv
I was buying a TV anyway so this was perfect timing. Let me know how you find the setup
Interesting that they excluded John Lewis where I just purchased a TV from, I might have been interested in this with the cashback.

Not sure how Samsung are making money if you claim cashback after buying a non Samsung TV though.

John lewis is included but different terms and conditions. Don't know what the difference is though as they look identical!
I’ve just done similar can I just did the cashback claim but it said £200 maximum
How are you getting £400?
How does the £400 cash back work? I can only see £200 cash back on the site, am I able to get this twice?
You can claim £200 on the soundbar and £200 on the subwoofer

The JL terms are wrong. It's a Samsung offer

I just had a read. The John Lewis promo period started on 30th January 2018. The other terms started on 1st May 2017 so John Lewis obviously only negotiated a deal with them recently to start offering this promotion.

I had a look at the promotion on a few other sites and some of them stipulate it must be a Samsung UHD TV which would make sense, can anyone shed any light?

If you fill in the claim form you can choose any manufacturer for the TV - I also had it confirmed by Hughes before I purchased

I wouldn't worry about dates too much as this offer has run in various ways a few times previously and it doesn't look like they update those properly from past promotions!

Awesome. I was just about to buy a 5.1 Q acoustics system for my TV arriving tomorrow but I will go and do a bit more reading on Samsung's offerings before I take the plunge.
I've spoken to Samsung promotions team and they confirmed that it can be any tv as long as it's a 4k UHD tv.
I have this without the sub. Its a damn fine bit of kit.

Am itching to buy the sub if I can find it on offer but to be honest am not sure if I need it. There is just about enough bass for my ears from the Soundbar, I think my wife would freak if I added a floor rumbling woofer as well!

Any thoughts from anyone who has it?
The only bundle John Lewis have is the HW-MS750 with the sub for £1000 which is £200 more than what Currys are charging. If i can get them to price match Currys at £800 then claim the £400 could be onto a winner.

That's the deal I picked up from Currys. 799 for the ms750 with sub. It's a lot of kit for 400 (after cashback)
I bought a ue75mu8000 Samsung TV on the 30th Dec and added MS750 with wireless woofer on the 8th Jan. Richer sounds beat Hughes price on the sound package and I paid £739. You need to buy the soundbar and woofer from the same retailer and within 30 days , you then need to wait another 30 days before you can submit a claim , Samsung then say they will pay you within 30 days . I submitted my claim on 7th Feb and it was validated the same day I actually received the payment yesterday after about a dozen calls to a claims management 3rd party who manage this deal for Samsung , TBH I didn't think Samsung would honour the deal which meant I got the MS750 and the Wireless Woofer for £339 .. my advice is don't settle for the 650 if the 750 is an option as its really is the dogs bollocks and brilliant with the 75 inch TV.

There is no logical reason why this is being voted cold , can only suggest Cambridge Analytical are doing the data analysis or some people are well thick!

I have the soundbar & rear speakers and waited for a good deal for the sub, managed to get it for £299 from Currys at Christmas.

Like you I was really enjoying the sound quality but I have been seriously impressed with the sub and it takes it to a whole new level. Also turns it into a very capable sound system for Deezer etc.

Samsung HW-K850 this soundbar is which? best buy soundbar at the moment, pricey though, but does have ATMOS.

Heres the review-

Samsung HW-K850review £775.58 87%

This is a mighty sound bar that comes with the full range of expensive audio features. There's support for high-res digital audio, wireless multi-room streaming and also Dolby Atmos technology for more cinema-like sound in your living room. But do these fancy features make this sound bar good enough to justify its formidable price? Read our full Samsung HW-K850 review to find out.Fantastic sound, Dolby Atmos, Multi-room audio
Slightly too much bass when Dolby Atmos switched on
The Samsung HW-K850 is a brilliant sound bar – one of the best we've ever tested, in fact. It deals well with whatever you're watching, and Dolby Atmos technology gives sound a really impressive sense of space. It ticks all the boxes apart from price, but if you're got the money to spend, then you won't be disappointed.
What type of sound bar is it?
A large, high-end sound bar with a separate subwoofer. The subwoofer is wireless, so you can place it anywhere in your living room, as long as it's near a power socket. This sound bar is also wi-fi-enabled, which means you can hook it up wirelessly to other Samsung speakers in your house to form a multi-room audio system. There's also Bluetooth if you'd prefer to stream from a smartphone or other device without going over your wi-fi network.

This is high-end home cinema equipment and, as such, it uses the latest Dolby Atmos surround sound technology. This means that the sound bar can bounce noises off your ceiling and walls to create the impression that sound is coming from above and the side of you.

There's a range of connection options. You can choose from digital optical, HDMI or even a standard 3.5mm aux cable if you're so inclined. There's also support for passing a 4K video signal on to your TV from an Ultra HD Blu-ray player or 4K streaming box. The sound bar also comes with wall-mounting brackets and screws if your TV is mounted in this way.
How does it sound?
Outstanding. There's a fantastic balance between bass and treble, which allows you to hear every details, whether you're watching a film or the TV. There's a good sense of space to the sound, something that we don't encounter too often with sound bars.

You can clearly hear the difference between the left and right channels when you're listening in stereo, but when you switch the surround sound effects on, you really do get the sense that sound is coming from all around you. Our listening panel couldn't quite believe it was all originating from a single sound bar.

As you might expect, the large subwoofer gives a big dollop of deep bass, but this usually doesn't overpower the details in the treble, although when the Dolby Atmos is switched on things can get a little too bassy. Too often, we see models that are comfortable shaking the room with explosions but not crisp enough to give clear dialogue while they're doing it. This is a welcome exception.
What's it like to use?
Very easy. Set-up is as simple as just plugging in the cables, although things do get a bit more complicated if you're setting up a multi-room audio system. The remote control is nice but might be slightly too long for people with smaller hands.

There are quite a lot of settings for you to fiddle with if you so wish, but these are hidden away in the menus, so they shouldn't cause much confusion for a more casual user. If you're using the Samsung multi-room streaming app on your smartphone or tablet, you can link your music accounts such as Spotify so that you don't have to leave the app to play music.
Is there anything else I should know?
Unsurprisingly for such a beast of a device, it's pretty power-hungry: it will burn through more than 5W just idling in standby mode. However, this can be reduced to 0.2W by turning off the internet connection. You just have to hold a button for five seconds before switching off.
Should I buy it?
Yes. TV, films and music will all sound excellent on this sound bar.

John Lewis price matched so I've got it ordered coming on Tuesday. Is it worth adding the 2 wireless Samsung speakers to turn it into a sorround system?

I've been thinking the same thing. I don't have the rear wireless speakers myself.. but it will complete what's already a great setup.
