Samsung MU6400 40" Smart TV £379.99 @ District Electricals with John Lewis price match

Samsung UE40MU6400 is currently listed in most places at £429 with the odd shop listing it at £399.99. District Electricals have the same TV on sale at £379.99 at the moment.

"Grade A - In A1 condition, some packaging damage. End of line/no-fault customer returns etc. Fully tested with full 12 month warranty."

I have no idea what District Electricals is like to order from. I wouldn't order a Grade A TV personally either, but can confirm that John Lewiswillprice match as shown in the email below.

Edit: I don't understand why this deal is being voted cold. This is the best price this TV has been for a while. I realise the TV's or boxes may not be in pristine condition but if John Lewis are price matching then surely that doesn't matter!?

Does LG have anything like Samsung Active Crystal Colour to enhance the HDR viewing? That's one reason I chose Samsung as the picture looks much better quality to me

Here's a link comparing the specifications
The LG has an IPS panel, whilst the Samsung is VA based: Further details
It's worth noting that the LG uses the controversial RGBW pixel structure which cannot display a true UHD/2160p image.

Samsung has the proper certification for it
I’ve been waiting for this to come down in price too but have a Currys voucher to use and don’t think they’d price match it. Might have to settle for the 6120
Cheers, hoping John Lewis price match as I have a voucher with them.

    It's worth a try? JL did so can't see why Curry's wouldn't.

They refused mine, so I've asked them to have another think about it!

I actually had this television delivered this morning (they'd already agreed to a £399 price match) and my first impressions of it are very good.

Hope they change their mind for you!
Confused why it's cold, seems a good deal to me - cheapest at the moment anyway. I'm waiting for it to come down to £350 ish.

Still refused unfortunately - I've got 28 days to claim the price match so will hang on for a while just in case it drops in price elsewhere.
Really happy with the television though and quite happy paying £400 for it

Where was the £399 from? Might give this a try with Currys

I've no idea why it's been voted so cold. I know people think there are between TVs out there for the price but I thought this would have got heat purely for the fact it's the cheapest the TV has been for a while. Never mind I bit the bullet and couldn't wait for it to come down any more
Do you have your case number?
I've just emailed as i purchased this in the middle of last month, just want the details incase they decline to price match :-)
Just price matched for me. Thanks OP
Just did this and it still works.

Crazy that this deal went cold. I think people must have seen "Grade A" in the description without reading the rest. 40" is plenty big enough for many people. Good deal.

Yeah, only grade a if bought from the site itself. Never mind, I tried and some people have got the deal so it's all good.
