Good quality 40" Ultra HD set. Ideal for gaming or those with limited space.

Been price watching this for a while and this is far lower than the £399 it was recently selling for at btshop.com (£419 at the moment).

What a random price!?
Great price for this TV, best since Christmas.... if only it had a 5/6 yr warranty too, I'd order one. I missed out on the £350 with 5 year warranty deal at the end of 2017 :-(
Good TV. Has Freesat and Freeview.
Be warned though, eBuyer have the worst customer service, and they use Yodel, so there's a good chance you'll never see it and have to do a chargeback when eBuyer don't want to help.

Can't comment on their customer service but they use UK mail for when I got the 55" version of this same model and arrived 3 days earlier than expected
Great TV used as my pc monitor and for gaming when the 65 inch is been used by the wife...
5-6% quidco too perhaps
Can vouch for the quality of this TV, we have 3 in the house, and absolutely spot on. WAY cheaper than we paid too, with ours being £399 each. Great price, good spot OP, heat given, pity we dont need a 4th ha
Bought this TV end of 2017, and it is brilliant!! Great picture quality...!! Would highly recommend it
Anyone with any experience of using this kind of TV as a PC Gaming monitor/hybrid. I know it's not the done thing... but is it a remotely suitable compromise?

Seems to be a very low lag, WhatHiFi give it a great review (gaming included)

Seriously tempted, but there's nowt wrong with my current TV, except that its only 32"
Whats the sound like on this? Most tv’s theses days have really tinny sounding speakers.

You seem like an utter timewaster with no intention of buying a TV to me.

I have the 55” model in my bedroom and it’s very good for built in sound, better than my 65” LG which allegedly has Harmon Kardon audio - I use a Yamaha sound bar system with that because it’s pretty poor.

Yup, I also stopped buying from them after their recent Christmas Jumper fiasco.
It boggles the mind why Samsung only put 3 HDMI ports on this years model when previously they had 4. Plus the removal of FreeSat. Downgrading the Series 6 is a scummy tactic imo.

Maybe this years model will be a worthy upgrade from my 2014 model.

It means he'll surely buy it now and show us the receipt?
Bought this tv last year for the bedroom. What Hi fi gave it five stars and for this money it’s well worth jumping on.

I think he’s waiting for it to drop to £199 and come with a 9 year warranty
Quality TV, paid £380 for it a few months back.

Might be worth going for a John Lewis price match if you have concerns about ebuyers services
I recently bought this for my mother in law from JL. Excellent TV for the money, nice build quality. Seems a steal to me

Using this in a bedroom the sound is fine, however cant say if used in a large living room at higher volumes it may struggle and cause the tinny effect.
is this a light and slim tv capable of going on the wall

Mine has both Freeview and FreeSat
I saw this tv in currys a few weeks ago, the picture quality is great and better than most of the other 40" ones they had on display. Do John Lewis price match?

Nice price indeed. Seems like all the good deals are on giant 55" models at the moment, and no 4k 32" TVs at all. 40" might be ok.

I don't think JL will price match this because they say they only price match if the competitor has physical stores.

Also done the same. Been after a 40" tv and this is a great price. I didnt want Samsung but popped into Currys the other day and this was the best picture (easily noticeable) though the model number was 6470 so if you say you found it cheaper elsewhere, the model number doesnt much and they dont worry about price matching

I bought this a few months back for this exact purpose - there are a few settings to change to enable 4:4:4 and things to tweak but works brilliantly for me, no noticeable input lag either.
Damn, my payment failed. Got to wait 10 mins to try again, but it is now showing at £444.99. Looks like it was a misprice.

And now up to £444.58 for some reason

Good deal, price went up though when i tried to pay £444.99 now
