I’m guessing you mean one of these: scan.co.uk/pro…20k

My neighbour just bought a Ferrari. Jokes on him because I just spent about 1% of what he spent on a fiat 500. Sure it doesn’t go as fast or look as nice but it does the same job so mine’s a much better deal ?

Fair point. However this drive is quite a bit quicker than the Intel 660p, ~25%+. For those just looking for some quick bulk ssd storage (like me, as I already have a 500gb super quick Samsung nvme), the Intel is likely a better buy. Got a link?

Heat for the deal regardless Mat
Seems a fair price for one of the best NVME drives, but no stock until mid September now

Check my comment just above. Has it at scan. I don’t personally like scan but on initial glance seems a good price if you need this amount of storage. I personally have no need for such high storage at these speeds

Bit confusing as you are responding to Sam Of London about his intel 660 2tb drive but linking to a Samsung 2tb?

Yes with Ebay discount codes they become even cheaper. Only marginal difference in performance for small files which only use the cache.

Correction to the above I had the wrong drive in the comparison tool. It is actually around 35% faster. Whether this difference will have any impact on you depends on the workload.

Regular 970 1TB as £100 on Prime Day so if you aren't in need of it immediately Black Friday is sure to be back to similar levels. The Plus is unlikely to worth the premium over the regular for all but the most demanding workloads.
