Ive got this one....pretty good netbook.

ok find - lots of these Netbooks are dropping to this level of pricing now, especially the ones with XP. Since Samsung is a good one - it is a snip

I am looking for a computer for my wife for basic use and internet.

I'll be difficult to use any 10" screen (and keybord) for longer periods. If this is her only notebook I would at least get 13"+ for office work and surfing.

They have "refurbed" ones available from the Argos Outlet store on a well known auction website - Item number: 350343415802.

Check out the Argos Clearance shop on eBay before you buy. They do loads of "refurb" netbooks (inc N130s) at a range of prices. There doesn't seem to be very much logic to their pricing , stocks of newer netbooks can come on at very low prices (£150-£160) while older models are stil being listed at £200+ but since all come with the same 12 months warranty you'd get with a "new" one (and its with a company who are likely to be around to honour it) I have no issue with the "refurb" label.

I most recently bought an NC10 for £156 delivered. While the seal had been broken on the box, it was immaculate with keyboard protector and screen films etc all still in place.

Not voting on this deal cause I think its not a bad price for this model BNIB but take a look at Argos before you part with your cash. £30-£40 kept in your pocket ain't a bad saving to make.
(And no I don't work for Argos. I'm just amazed that so many people think that the word "new" is always worth a premium).

refurbed on ebay can mean they have gone back faulty too and just flogged off by auction
