Ok - lots of these about but :

curry reserve and collect nc10 = £259
3% quidco
£20 online discount voucher direct with samsung

When collecting pricematch them against Argos:
argos.co.uk/sta…htm

reducing to £237 - (match +10%)

knock off the £20 voucher and the £6ish quidco and you are at about £209 for the 5200mah battery version - just collected one now

Apologies if link and pictures dont come out - but I am sure you know all about the nc10

Probably wont do it - most employees (or at least managers) will know the Argos model isn't the same (3 cell)

Guess I was lucky then - to be honest the battery is one big bar anyway, and you have to really look to find the mah rating...

I thought the samsung cashback is only for the N130 model, no mention of NC10 included in the £20 cashback.........

They are also doing £20 cashback for NC10 too

It wont work - there was a communication yesterday about the promo offer (and the cashback deal) and 1 of the 5 pages was comparing it to the Argos deal (smaller battery, no adobe and something else).

if anyone does get a pricematch, they've done very well, but 99% will be unsuccessful. Voted cold.

Oh and make sure they put through the reserve and collect properly (from your reservation, not by scanning the item) or else quidco won't pay.

Couldn't you just apply that £20 rebate to the deal below making it £229.97 and save all the price match hassle/debate/risk?:

Well - personally asking them to price match Argos was not really a hassle - has anyone else other than me tried it I wonder?

I believe the £20 cashback is a dsgi exclusive.

Oh, OK but OP says "direct with Samsung" so it looked like a manufacturer rebate. Can anyone confirm / post link please?

True but the thread suggests they shouldn't match it (you got lucky?). If it is a loophole no doubt they'll try to close it though with DSG anything could happen!

Agreed maybe they should not match it - in that case I guess it comes in @ around £229 with manufacturere cashback and quidco - still a pretty good price compared to others listed here?

I am looking to buy 1 of them this week. It seems that Dixons dropped it to £249.99 today (before cashback).

dixons.co.uk/mar…id=

Can anyone please tell me if it's the same one that you can get at ebuyer at £238.76?

ebuyer.com/pro…iew

The specs don't look identical (especially the wireless enabled bit) and since I've seen a few of these for different prices on the net, I don't want to end up gettting the wrong one.

The one at ebuyer seems to have good reviews, so if it's identical to the one at Dixons, then Dixons is the best price so far.

Any help in the specs bit would be appreciated by someone more technical than myself.

The one i have from currys is the 6 cell (5200mah battery) wireless enabled (despite what's said on webpage) - Its sat by me now downloading 50 odd widows updates! Plus of course you can ask them to pricematch against Argos and see if they realise! (dont forget quidco and the manufacturers £20 also)

Anyone else had any success with the pricematch element of this deal?

I tried yesterday at the Currys in Ealing, but they knew the battery on the Argos deal was the 3 cell and didn't match it.

I just tried this at Currys in Charlton and it worked

They did check online to ensure that the processor was the same, but they are, so they matched the price and then added the extra 10% so I paid £237. Happy to scan the receipt if anyone is interested.

Thanks OP. Hot from me!

Xavk could u tell me exactly what u did/what I need to do if I want this deal?

Oh and also you know cause pcworld are doing this for £239 right now are they also offering £20 cash back?

I reserved online (after going to currys via quidco). I then printed out the first page of the argos offer and looked to see which stores nearby had stock (in case I was challenged - which I wasnt). Then instore, i presented the team at the collect and reserve desk with my print out of my reservation and the argos pricing and they applied the discount (I had to remind them about the 10% extra they beat the price match by - once reminded they were fine with it). Simple as that really.

Wasn't aware of the PCW price but the claim form on the Currys site clearly lists PC World as being part of the offer, so if that is convenient, you get almost the same price through them (not sure about Quidco, but you wont get the 10% extra via pricematch (£2).

Hope that helps.

Where is the Argos voucher that I should take if I want it pricematched?

I tried it yesterday at local Curry's and after about 30 minutes waiting they wouldn't price match the Argos one (at £149) because they said that there's IS £149 (after the cashback which IS dgsl exclusive) the 'really annoying' store manager 'kindly' printed off the voucher which stated so.
Even though the Currys one online shows it's a 10.2 screen, instore it's actually a 10.1.
I pointed this out and said 'yeah but the Argos one is a 10.2 screen for the same price' you know what the little h1tler said to me?
" Guess you better get down to Argos for you extra '1mm' screen then" sarcastic barsteward!
