Go on then! I'd be fascinated to hear why this is being voted cold - it's 20% less than most other places! :?

CNET review ]http//re…htm
Could be that the Via processor looks slow to most people. Benchmark wise the Via U2250 1.3ghz processor is about the same performance, or slightly faster than, the Intel Atom N280 1.66ghz available in most netbooks. Graphics are probably also slightly better than most current netbooks around (but won't be as good as Nvidia Ion). Apparently these can play youtube videos, iplayer, high definition with only slight hiccups - which most netbooks can't.

Bear in mind with the Windows XP models that they are due to be released on the 22nd October with Windows 7 installed, so prices on the XP models may come down further closer to that time.
These are great little note books, I've not even used my laptop since I got my external DVD. It does exactly as it says on the box, battery is great too!
Who is the retailer?

Think I'll give this a miss then. Especially seeing as it's being described as "open box" could be in for all sorts of trouble. Voting cold because of retailer but giving rep for poster's effort
