The Samsung NC10 Plus netbook offers all the high-end style you’re looking for, but without the high-end price tag. And you don’t have to worry about reliability. Most of its components are manufactured directly by Samsung and undergo intensive quality assurance testing. There’s no compromise on performance either. You can get going fast using an innovative Fast Start, while a 10.1” LED anti-reflective screen lets you enjoy the sharpest details and boldest colours even in direct sunlight. It also delivers an extensive 13.8 hours* of battery power. Which is probably just as well, as it’s lightweight and ultra durable design and host of advanced communication and data-sharing tools mean you really can just keep on going and going.

I would like to add:
* It does not come with an CD/DVD Drive
* This is smaller than a notebook/laptop and not meant to be a gaming powerhouse
* If you want something to spend the day on a 3G USB Connection or writing up a report then this little unit is great for you
* Should handle everything the internet throws at it too

I'm going to go have a play with it now so if you have any specific questions then please do ask.

Nice nice... Pity no hdmi out though And no best buys over here so meh. Love the sounds of the battery though, seems to be very hard to find a netbook that comes with 6 cell instead of having to buy separately.

I want a Samsung

Just a head's up to say that the NC10 is actually equipped with the older Intel Atom N270 CPU.

been looking for a netbook for a while, quite keen on the Sony VPCM13M1EW but its around £300.

I had been looking for a netbook in ages, and recently there have been loads of deals posted on HUKD for netbooks! I went for a refurbished Packard Bell Dot SR from TechFurb (eBay) - nothing wrong with it at all for £165 that was posted on here.

£279 at Amazon amazon.co.uk/Sam…JOE so a great price at Best Buy and I think they are opening a new store in Croydon this weekend.

Didn't even know this model existed. I just ordered a Samsung N110 which was the replacement for the original NC10 from TechFurb on ebay yesterday.

You do realise this is the newer updated NC10 Plus?

There are plenty of cheaper netbooks out there but the NC10 Plus has Wireless N and Bluetooth 3.0 built in, two things we thought we worth paying for.

The 6 cell is good but don't really see the majority of people needing BT 3.0 or Wireless N

Your missing the point, in this case your not paying extra for those cause most other netbooks retail for the same price without them. So its a bonus for no extra outlay.

Better off waiting for a deal, e.g. the Maplin deal that here a few weeks ago, or waiting for one to come on Argos outlet (which are as new), this is overpriced +
I wonder how many can get to a store!!!

Well i haven't seen any deals on netbooks with the newer ( lower power useage ) N450 processor and a 6 cell battery.
The original NC10 had great battery life ( at about 7 hours) , but this new model lasts even longer.

The maplin deal was a few weeks back and it came to around £155 with voucher and 2 year warranty.

Sabz.. that maplin deal is not for a netbook with an RRP of £299 and I doubt it will be for something of the build quality of the Samsung. Next best online deal is laptopsdirect.co.uk/Sam…gle at £269.99 I would say a saving of £50 and direct from physical shop is a pretty good deal. I appreciate some people will want the cheapest out there but this little unit packs in quite a lot for the price.

The Maplin deal was for a MSI Wind U100 Plus, same processor, 6 cell, 2 year warranty........and the best bit it was under £160.....defo a better deal at the time + available online rather than a select few instore locations!

Do you have a link?.... do you mean this one?

It is not the same processor - though it's the same clock speed and dual core it's well over a year old. Also it has shared graphics, smaller HD and it's B-Grade! The NC10+ is a brand new unit and I mean it's only been out just over a month.

The MSI comes with Windows XP which is no longer being shipped:
infopackets.com/new…ments_win8_details_emerge.htm

The Samsung comes with Windows 7 Starter and although not the heavier version of Home, Premium or Ulitmate it still has the same 7600 kernel of it's siblings and will be supported for a few years yet. The MSI is priced low for a very good reason but the Samsung is well under the market average.

As said it was a while ago (expired now obv) hotukdeals.com/dea…942

Hot stuff from me. This is a pretty high spec netbook for close to £200.

It's just a shame that you can't buy one without the Microsoft tax as that would probably get the price below £200.

Thanks.Reserved one at Croydon and picked up yesterday. It is still on at £279.99 on the shelf but got mine for £219.99 so very pleased. My son has one of the NC10 and its a great little netbook, just the right size for taking to school so got this one for 2nd son for xmas.

Its back up to £279.99 now glad I brought one when I did
