Such an amazing phone.....13 months and hasn't even slowed a little bit. OLED screen is absolutely beautiful for watching stuff.

Friend of mine bought Note 20 Ultra and sent it back after 7 days, preferred his Note 10+!

It is still very much a flagship phone.....OLED HDR, 12 GB RAM, very very good triple camera with still one of the highest scores on DX mark.

£649 V £1100 for a note 20 Ultra, Note 10+ a no brainer.

What made him prefer the 10+?

What made him prefer the 10+?

I suppose prefer wrong word, what he said was the upgrades were just not noticeable enough.....plus apparently the battery is shocking. He also said the camera bump was ridiculous.

Posituve was 120hz screen but overall he just liked the feel of the Note better & didn't feel the changes in Note 20 were big bang enough. I cancelled my ore order at that point, glad I didn't bite now, the Note 10 is an incredible bit of kit

Exynos or Snapdragon CPU?

Exynos....... imagine the SD even better on battery but tbh not missing what I haven't got, the phone is a beast

They did a survey (as in Google did) about the 4a and the 5 prices. As it's got the less powerful CPU think about £699 (might be less as that was dollars but probably just convert it). Think base storage will be 128GB.

Exynos or Snapdragon CPU?

Exynos....Im glad you reminded me as I was just going to pull the trigger...exynos is just not very good.

I still might go for it but the standby drain issue sucks. Samsung charge Europe more for the worse chipset..👎
I've really become bogged down by this Exynos vs Snapdragon debate recently.

Prior to that, my theory was stick with Exynos for convenience, choice and warranty but look to get the handset as cheap as possible.

I then started to get swayed by comments on here and recent YT videos.

However, I'm now swaying back to my original thinking - i.e. as long as the price is right it's worth compromising.

Same here, it's an interesting topic too. Personal experience across an S20 5G, S20+ and regular S20 over the last 2 months has sealed the deal for me. Gets too hot, battery isn't great and lagging in games spelt the end of Samsung phones for me personally.

I've decided to no longer purchase Samsung phones unless they have Snapdragon in the UK.

I've got a Sony Xperia 1 Mark II coming tomorrow to replace an Samsung S20 (Exynos (lol))

The Sony HS Power Control is an excellent feature and one that I will use personally for gaming on a phone.
Had a brand new one, sold it after a week, battery life terrible, barely five hours screen time, should be ten hours with that size battery, and it was set to full HD also. The reality is the samsung processors are crap.High drain compared to snapdragon and it didn't feel particularly fast either.
I don't get this exynos issue, but I have limited exposure to them. I've got a s10 plus 512gb, uses exynos. Never gets hot, battery life is superb, fast as lightning, is the snapdragon really going to make that much of a difference for daily use?
I write this from the Note 10+ 5G I'm stuck with and the most overrated phone I've had. Moved from Huawei. The camera on this looks cartoony and not flagship. This is evident by the number of complaints on the Samsung forums
I got my Note 10+5G from Samsung last December (thanks to MrSwitch). It was £699 with the part ex of a no name Android phone. It has performed faultlessly since then. With heavy use it always lasts a day with battery to spare, with light use it will last 2 days. The screen is fantastic and the camera is superb. I have had no issues with the phone getting hot. The finger print sensor isn't as easy to use as the rear mounted sensor on the Note 9 but otherwise I am delighted with it.

I don't doubt the SD processor is better but I have yet to find a situation where it would make a difference to me.

Exactly the same experience - particularly the crappy Android phone to PX! No issues whatsoever with mine and gather that it will get a further Android release than initially expected.
Great deal
My contract is up for renewal end of December do you think this phone will still be around by then :/ thinking might buy the phone and go sim only
