Live every detail of the games you love with the Samsung Odyssey G5 LC27G55TQWUXEN Quad HD 27" Curved LED Gaming Monitor.

The Samsung Odyssey G5 gives a serious advantage in the heat of battle. The 1 ms response time allows precise mouse movements for speedy reactions, often the crucial factor in a big multiplayer.

Combining Quad HD resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, you can push for higher settings in that FPS or open world adventure and enjoy realistic motion. The Samsung Odyssey G5 also features AMD FreeSync Premium, syncing the refresh rate to your graphics card for tear-free smoothness.

The 1000R curve display wraps the scenery around you, bringing you closer to the action. And with support for HDR10 content, you'll see realistic lighting and shadows.

The newer G55A model was available for £185 on Samsung EPP last week (may still be). The G55A has higher refresh rate and a couple other things I can't remember.
Good point, the G55A is only £20 more on Samsungs website without EPP

Not knowing much about gaming monitors, would the Dell-S2722DGM be a good upgrade from my current monitor which is a Lenovo G24-10 23.6-inch Full HD LED Monitor, Asp 16:9, 1ms Resp Time,144Hz refresh, AMD Radeon FreeSync, TN Panel Type. Thanks in advance. (edited)
It's a solid upgrade in all the key areas (screen size, resolution, design), but not enough to be a no brainer at around £200-250 that it usually retails at.

However, having owned IPS, VA, and TN gaming panels, I think VA is the worst of the three. With that in mind, something like the 27GL850 (IPS) should be in the same price range, or even a marginally upgraded 165hz alternative if you're patient enough and keep an eye out on this website.
