Apparently there's a quite a few problems trying to update this phone, last update Microsoft pushed to this phone pretty much bricked it, and I've read somewhere that they stopped issuing updates for it, for the time being anyway.

Amazing deal

I can confirm that mine is shipped so price stands (for now). Just noticed that a UK Outlet Adaptor has been included that wasnt part of my original order but looks like its included in the phones price....I think

All the items in this order have been shipped.

eXpansys Services Promotional discount 161328 1 0 Shipped £-12.50
Samsung Omnia 7 I8700 Windows Phone 7 (EU, 16GB) 217014 1 0 Shipped £232.52
Wonpro Universal AC Inlet - UK Outlet Adaptor (with Pro1 Logo, EU/US to UK) 184314 1 0 Shipped £4.97

UK adaptor? Does that mean that this is not an official UK model??

Looks like Ive ordered the EU model which has a different SKU to the UK model. They're no longer selling the EU model on the UK website so I can only guess Ive added the wrong one to my basket. Begs the question why a EU model was being listed on the UK site alongside the UK model??

Its now coming with DHL from France! Damn it will have to return to get a UK model.......

The EU ones are 16gb and covered by EU warranty so Samsung UK should be able to deal with warranty repairs. UK versions are 8gb only. The one you've ordered should be fine - you just need to select "English" during the setup process.

My SKU with EU in title is: SKU: 217014

"item is no longer available in this region"

The other SKU without EU in the title is: SKU: 217100

Both are 16GB?

Just checked the Expansys German site. SKU217014 is listed as 16gb. I'm not sure what the SKU217100 units are but the description on the UK site says 16gb.

Bought one of these a few weeks ago from Expansys - I got the 8GB model for £350 - feel a bit silly now!

Anyway, it's a fantastic phone and mine wasn't the UK model but Expansys included a UK power adapter in the box with it so I've had no problems charging it here. It charges over USB anyway so it's pretty much universal.

Price has gone up slightly to £289.99. Still good though.

Sent mine back for swap with a UK model as I dont want issue with re-sale etc in the future.

gone up to £299

Price has gone up so needs to be edited or expired.

Still cheapest around so would be a shame to expire.

Price is now £319.99

**** phone paid 350 quid for it
