agreed also seen the tv on it own for cheaper too

And the M&S Deal has a free 5 year Warranty!

muoi

urgh look at the resolution....

Resolution isn't everything, thats like saying a 15megapixel camera is better than a 10 which is rubbish. Its how it produces the image that makes the difference, my Pioneer Kuro has this same resolution and for picture quality it blows every LCD out of the water plus even with that resolution it still got many 5 star ratings including whathifi

it would've been way hot....hadn't M&S fudge the BD and 5yr W on theirs!

now the M&S deal has expired..but I'm left reluctant to get it at that price now that I've seen it way cheaper...(£150 cheaper actually considering the price of the BD)

In this day & age there is no reason to have to settle for a low rez screen, 1920 x 1080 is the minimum you should settle for at this screen size no matter how good your old Pioneer Kuro is/was!!

Utter bulls**t

Im not an expert but I would be put off buying a tele when the native resolution (1024x768) is lower than the spec for 720p (1280x720).
Does this not mean that the tv will have to upscale in the width to fill all those extra pixels resulting in a poorer (albeit hard to tell) picture?

With the price of tvs now, I also think you would be daft to buy a new one which ISNT 1080p.
