Best price around.

Offering an impressive display screen with brilliant picture quality, the Samsung PS51D550 51" Full HD Plasma 3D TV deserves serious consideration to go front and centre in your home cinema setup.

For not only does the Samsung PS51D550 51" Full HD Plasma 3D TV boast all the usual benefits of plasma technology - ultra-high contrast, instant response times, and effectively unlimited viewing angles - it also supports 3D playback with its 3D HyperReal Engine! That makes it a wise choice for the future, though of course you can purchase a 3D Blu-ray player and 3D movie to enjoy 3D content today. Sports and action-movie fans will also love the 600 Hz technology for crisp display of fast-moving content.

The Samsung PS51D550 51" Full HD Plasma 3D TV also offers a broad array of connectivity options, including 4 HDMI ports, SCART, component and composite connections, and even a VGA input for using this television as an enormous computer monitor. Twin USB ports allow convenient playback of content from a USB drive.

With plenty of stage presence, the Samsung PS51D550 51" Full HD Plasma 3D TV is geared up to be the star of your top-of-the-line home cinema experience!

Really good price. Only I've had 2 Samsungs now (different models) and both developed a major fault within the first 18 months (very common apparently, do a google search). So I would never buy one again unless I knew they've solved the probs.

Bought one in the Summer. Stunning picture quality, especially on HD.

I see no mention of glasses included so If required then you need to budget around £20 per pair for battery glasses. Have some heat OP, cheapest I've seen for this TV standalone.

Had my 50" HD nearly 5 years and wish the **** would break down so I can justify getting a new one !

Hmm...not such a great deal, considering you could get this with 2 pairs of 3D glasses and a blu-ray for around £74 quid more months ago: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-ps51d550-51-inch-widescreen-full-hd-1080p-3d-plasma-tv-with-freeview-hd-975581?page=3#post11933495
Voted hot though, as it's the best price around currently, and it is a fantastic TV.

Comet are doing this for £649 with four pairs of glasses and Megamind blu-ray: http://www.comet.co.uk/p/Plasma-TV-Packages/buy-SAMSUNG-PS51D550C1KXXU-Plasma-TV-Package/777935

Very tempting indeed

i bought this set a couple of days ago and i find the picture on sky HD and blu rays to be awful. My 3 year old panasonic plasma wipes the floor with it.

The Samsung is going back to comet very shortly.

Which set are you referring to here? This deal or the one linked to by TimeWarp?
