Thanks for posting @vincent433 and welcome to HUKD. I've added the full product name to the title, it helps with searches, tagging and letting people know exactly what the product is.
JL will most likely price drop this rather than match, as will everyone else within a few days and the prices will just keep dropping.

The launch of the 2018 Samsung ranges is nigh and the spec on the QLED's looks mightily impressive with the return of back lighting, full array local dimming on the better models and supposedly much lower launch prices too.

All that said, for this precise moment that's a competitive price so heat it is
Try TV80 code, should work for another £80 off
Been waiting months for the 49" version to go on sale. It's got to come down soon... the 2018 models are about to be released.
Ex90 is better and cheaper

Not even worth buying 4K if you go under 50", of course it's totally your choice but you should really be eyeing up the 55 incher instead of the 49 mate

This is true but isn't almost every tv 4K now? and if not I doubt there's much in it between an under 50" 4K or a 1080p.
Got the Q7F 75. Amazing panel. Do it.

It's for the bedroom. 49-50 inch is the biggest that will fit! OLEDS start at 55 inch which is why going for QLED.

We been eyeing up the 55" Q7 or Q8 for the bedroom since for coming on a year now, sorry but we may as well stick with the old 1080p 46" we got in there if we don't go 55" plus to upgrade to 4K, I'm actually beginning to ponder the the idea of a 65" if the prices are going to drop dramatically enough.

Bundles of 4K tellies are not true 4K, especially the Lucky Goldstar budget to medium ranges, and loads of the smaller 4K sets are 8 bit rather than 10 bit.

I'm just a firm believer of bigger is better when it comes to 4K, even for a smaller room

Errr.... you what mate? Why on earth are you banging on about cheapo "Lucky Goldstar" tv's? This deal and topic is based on a high-end Q-Series Samsung. The 8 bit/10 bit thing is a different (more in-depth) conversation.

Anyone who is looking for an approx 50" TV in the price range of a Q-series Samsung will by default end up with a 4K (as there won't be an option for anything less - e.g 1080p) and most likely it will also be 10-bit/HDR10 etc too.

The fact that 4K looks better on tv's 65" and over is neither her nor there.

Neither herE nor there yet you acknowledge yourself you need a bigger set to see the 4K difference, enough said

Errr..you what? Try reading what I said again, calm down this time and let it digest for a minute.

I quite clearly acknowledged at the end that 4K is benefited by using a larger screen but this point is neither here nor there as the poster is after a 49" TV with a Q-Series Samsung budget. This in-turn means they will end up with a high spec 4K screen (they're is no choice!). You keep saying 4K looks better on bigger screens and I AGREE but if that poster is specificaly looking at 49" screen size then it makes no difference does it? You make it sound like they have a choice between a high-end 49" 4K or a high-end 49" 1080p. It will end up being 4K! The fact you can't see much of a difference between the two sets isn't worth blabbering on about is it!?!

NUFF SAID!
