Cheapest price I’ve seen this for so far this week. Down to £699 on Samsung’s site. 10% student or employee discount then further 5% off with TVBF5.

Good price for an entry level QLED. Comes with 5 year warranty too.

Good price. Heat added.
This or Hisense U8?
So, you are applying staff codes available to a limited number of people and calling it a deal. Suppose you could make a deal out of anything with these codes.
Good even with the %5 code.
Code doesn't work.
What's this TV like?
Code not working
I believe if you go for the QLED range, then the Q70R is the one to aim for at the very least, Q80/90 are even better but cost much more. I am looking for a deal on that, hopefully it'll come soon enough.
So to get it at this price id need to become a student first then stack with this code?
Not a good panel, motion is poor as is the build quality.

The discount portal is available to many people; employee perks, students, armed forces, emergency services etc. Yes it's not fully open to everyone, but I'd say a good proportion of people on hukd either have that access directly, or know someone who does.

The code itself is a black Friday offer for an additional 5% off the already discounted price on the portal.
Cannot stack 10% employee/student with £5 Black Friday

Does anyone have the q60? Ideally I'd like at least 55incges for my living room and thus seems like a good deal.

Blue light card also works btw.

It seems like a great deal for a QLED. Are there other 4k TVs that are better than this for less than 600?

My mistake, I stand corrected! ‘Tis a shame that the student portal doesn’t have the same free soundbar offers
Also works for defence discount.
Thank you very much! Ordered one with the help of my sister!

Q60R is basically a rebadged top range LED.
Q70R has basic features from top range models, with surprisingly good blacks, but bad screen reflections and iffy dimming.
Q80R is a big step up from the Q70R in dimming, but has surprisingly poor blacks due to a contrast ration half that of the Q70R. It doesn’t reflect though.
Q85R is just a small step down from the Q90R in that it has 100 dimming zones instead of 460. It’s excellent but costs a fair whack more.
Q90R is top of the range and all singing all dancing. But reviewers say it’s a very close call between it and the Q85R.

I bought the q60 around Christmas and I'm very pleased and impressed.

Looks great with 4k content, and xbox one S (4k interface, 1080p gaming output)...

Smart features are great.

Picture excellent.

Limited google home functionality (turn on / off, i think volume too) is probably my only minor complaint.

I'm sure there are better tv's but depends how far you want to take it....
