Samsung’s Q60R QLED TV lets you experience every scene as if you were there, with a picture made of over a billion colours and shades, and receive personalised suggestions for what to watch next. Ambient Mode turns the screen into a decorative feature, displaying customisable content, and can blend the TV into its surroundings.* Control all compatible devices with One Remote Control, and you can access a world of online entertainment via Samsung's Smart Hub, and interact by voice with the Bixby Voice Assistant.

Quantum Processor 4K
This TV adapts to give you the optimum 4K picture, targeted sound and personalised TV recommendations.

Q HDR
HDR deepens your view and shows shades previously unseen in home entertainment. Expanding light, dark and every colour in between to extraordinary new levels, this model's picture gets closer to real life. With Q HDR, the supreme brightness levels of QLED technology enables you to experience the full potential of the latest HDR standards.

4K Ultra High Definition
This 43” screen has four times the number of pixels than 1080p Full HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail. And UHD upscaling increases the clarity of non-4K content.

Features:

100% Colour Volume: utilising quantum dot technology, QLED takes light and turns it into breath-taking colour. 100% colour volume is achieved (DCI-P3 standard measure), for a realistic picture of rich, authentic colour of over a billion hues.

Ambient Mode: removing the blank screen, the QLED can blend into the room with decorative, useful and customisable content.*

Game Enhancer: stay one step ahead of the competition with picture and sound that adapts as fast as you game.

Wide Viewing Angle: for a great picture, wherever you sit.

Adaptive Sound: the audio adapts to suit both the content of what you’re watching, and the acoustics of the room.

One Remote Control: control all of your compatible devices and content for seamless multitasking.

I don't think there are any TVs that aren't edge lit at this price and size, so choice is limited. I could be wrong, but I still think the Panasonic is the better TV from what I've read

ok cool thanks, looking at reviews it does look like the better choice, bit more expensive and smaller though but probably worth it

I have the 40" Panasonic GX800 and it's okay, black levels aren't that deep when viewing In the dark and there aren't many smart apps to choose from as compared to the Samsungs. Features wise the Samsung wins in this aspect.
The Panasonic does have Dolby Vision and Atmos capabilities if you are interested in using any of these things

I'd definitely wait for Black Friday as I would hope the price drops a bit. It's too expensive at full price for a 40". I've got my eye on it
BT were doing a 50inch with a sound bar for £399 a month ago.. is this model that much better??

LG came top in Which last time I checked. It was the 7500PLA model.
I just ordered an led one from John Lewis for £349.99. Is Qled worth the extra money?

Son just bought this yesterday; amazon.co.uk/dp/…Q7/ wants it for FIFA.

Looks ok for the money.

Which best buy with performace levels ahead of tvs costing 3-4 times as much.

#EDIT# Son got it for £395 from Amazon - they've since bumped it up another £50 - and others have followed: Greedy turds.
