Again seems like another good price
I’ve seen QLED at my local curry’s, not this one though.
Any thoughts on this being the entry level panel?
does not have full array dimming , the higer up the range the more dimming zones
Does it have 10% quidco cashback?
I've got this telly on a different offer about a month ago. It is incredible. I just don't see how you could improve on the picture quality on HD.
Its not a huge amount of money for a good size telly, and i for one, would buy it again, at the drop of a hat.

Yep it’s on the link. All purchases at Curry’s are currently 5% too.

It’s not actually a QLED so kinda on par with the LG nano range (which is a bit cheaper)

Never used quidco before. I reserved that tv + Google Nest mini via quidco app (Samsung TV link) last night. Total to pay is £709.00. After couple of minutes I received tracked cashback amount for £6.80 and purchase amount is £590. I did something wrong?

It should go upwards, just keep an eye on it.

It’s edge lit, and not local dimming, which is the main appeal of qled oled TVs. Check out this side by side from Rtings if like me you’re split between Samsung and LG. This has better blacks and is brighter, but the LG is better in a non-dark room.

Oh and the Samsung lacks Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, and the beautiful OneConnect box of the Q70.

But to get quidco cashback I have to pay full amount straight away? Or I can use Pay nothing for 9 months option in Currys to get 10% cashback as well? I just reserved bundle via quidco app in Currys PC World, not payed yet and have only £6.80 tracked cashback so far.
Never used Quidco either. Anyone wanna send a referral email to me on pvt?
Great price for this TV. I paid £1000 at ao 6 months ago and never regretted it.

Is difference in picture quality between q67 and q60 even noticeable?
I remember making a claim little while ago and Quidco said they don’t include cash back on full value but the value before VAT is added.

Hope it helps.

It's exactly the same TV, just with a silver frame rather than black. The pqi is just some nonsense. The actual TV is the same. The model number has been changed slightly so Currys don't have to enter into the price refund war if a competitor sells the Q60 cheaper. As only Currys sells the Q67, they can set the price and make up their own pqi number which then fools people into thinking 67 is better than 60 and therefore they can add that 100pqi on and charge what they like.

The Samsung can pass through Dolby Atmos from another source, but it doesn't provide it from its inbuilt apps.

The Dolby Vision can be a bit of a pain if you watch a lot of HDR sources, particularly through Netflix, that is true of all Samsung Tv's.

Depends what you want it for. It will be excellent for gaming and all SDR content including sports as it has the 120 hz panel and a very low lag time. It is also good if you watch it head on as it has a VA panel which provides deep Black's but not wide viewing angles.

What it isn't so good at is HDR, it's peak brightness is about 480 nits according to various sources so whilst you can certainly see the difference between SDR and HDR, it is not bright enough to really do it justice. The Q70 is needed for that. On the same lines, the lack of local dimming with the lack of brightness in HDR means that the HDR contrast isn't as high as it could be, even given that 480 nit level. Local dimming could get the Blacks deeper and help a bit like last year's Q6F.

Finally with HDR, it doesn't support Dolby Vision, only HDR10+ so the Dolby Vision content out there (Netflix mainly) will default to the base HDR source which is OK, but isn't as good.
