Would. Also like to know this...
I am researching new TVs at the moment and it gets mixed reviews, very bright colours but black levels not great and poor viewing angles if not straight on. I believe the Q7F is the better buy, however the 2018 range Q7FN is meant to be a step up in all aspects, but obviously you will pay a premium for this.

Very tempted to go that route for the same set myself. Had any problems with the set. Heard reports of the back panel coming loose and blackouts on screen, mainly when using a PS4 pro.

Hi, na, so far so good, but it's only 2wks old, it's a lovely tv, my Xbox x looks great on it, and the Netflix and footy in 4k you can really see difference.. I guess you will hear bad reports on all tv's if your the unlucky one, I recommend it, esp from JL or Richer sounds

It's not, the only difference is the QD colour filtering, that will make HDR a teeny bit better than the MU7000

Correct, further your research off line, with a large mixed bag of real UHD clips, demos and even a movie, on a fast USB3 stick and go and visit a Curry's or Richersounds store to try all the ones you are interested in, I do not mean for a few minutes either, have a play with the remote settings on each one, check out the features of each TV, both on and off and you will end up with something worth having, not just what everyone else states is good on the web! Do it mid morning, week day if poss, when there are no never going to buy anything shoppers out at the weekend and no excess amounts of young ens running around!

Read in to reports as you may, but think about the amount of MU7000's that have been sold in the last 10 months! Never seen or heard of either of those issues, in the real world of TV's and as long as you grab the latest firmware on USB3 and rewrite the TV from new as soon as you get it, with nothing connected, no wifi, no sky, no blu-ray, no router, no sticks, then set it up with one i/o device at a time, you should have no issues, also with the MU7000 it is well worth, either calibrating it ((see youtube how)) or getting the best settings, for your scenario / environment of use, over on AVF
same got the mu7000, in fact i was that happy with the set i ended buying 2 of them amazing tv for the price, this tv will be slighlty better but when i paid £560 and £650 for the mu7000 is it better by £150/£240? probably not

got a pro and an x and had zero issues so far, but with any tv there is always going to be issues for some people

Thanks for the replies. I figured they were both widespread issues after seeing them a good few times from different people. Recently had a 65" SONY die after just under 3 years. Android was absolutely awful so never again with one of them. The MU7000 with a five year warranty is looking like the best way to go, even though i'll probably notice it being 10 inches smaller for a while.

Got this tv a month ago for £879 so great price. It keeps cutting out from the built in Amazon and Netflix apps after 20 to 30mins though.

Had no cutting out from my Netflix app, have you updated the tv to latest firmware or reinstall the Netflix app?

I get this on a Q7F, WiFi disconnects and tv needs re-booting before it will reconnect
I got this tv a week ago for £850ish. Great tv. 4k looks really good on Netflix!

Sound advice all around, thanks for such a comprehensive reply. I'd genuinely never thought about the time of day I 'test drive' TVs

Grab the full latest firmware, put it on a USB3 stick, unplug all your stuff, flash the firmware, connect your devices, one at a time, with Syncwire Hdmi cables, reload latest App versions, all fixed

Genuinely welcome, anything to help that stops hukd members ((and their families!!)) from wasting time & money!

Take a flask of tea and some sarnies with you and make a morning of it, if you are going to drop a grand on a TV, it really is worth checking them out and getting the right one for you, not the right one, because everyone says its right for you!!
Just get it. The more you read into it the more you’ll take more notice of the negative reviews. There will always be something better for just a little more money, problem is you’ll end up forgetting the deal, waiting for something better or paying top dollar for a tv you didn’t need in the first place!!

I'm gutted as they didn't have a exchange for me as the mu7000 is discontinued. Only paid £649 tooo. Don't think this q6f is worth the extra either. Guess I'll save up for the lg b7 richer sounds have over 800 in-stock...

You got the 649 price match from JL as well then? Yeah I am satisfied with the mu7000 so far, good picture all round and the 4k stuff stands out, as does my gaming on the Xbox X, the LG B7 is meant to be a fab tv, good choice to save up for

Yeah got price match at 649 unfortunately mine is faulty so no straight swap so getting a refund... Was happy too for the price
Seems to have gone up in price another fifty quid. Still a good deal.....? RS seems to have sold out now.

Guess it depends on the price diff at the mo, I am well pleased with my mu7000 in every aspect, but others will say the same about the 6F, if the extra £140ish don't bother you then maybe the 6F, but if you go with the 7000 you won't regret it.. can't you get to a Richer Sounds and see them both?
