Think subsidesports may well be the winning side in this promo and sell more football shirts, than people buy this TV, from the co-op to get a free shirt from Samsung!

Just ordered this one for someone..

Cheers buddy, have edited the title and price.
Amazing deal! I would have this TV right now but because of the type of stand it has, it wont fit on my TV unit
Richer Sounds will price match with 6 year guarantee (by joining the VIP club free) and price beat it by up to £100.

Yep. £819 for this is a steal.
Trying to see which is going to be a better buy, this Q6 vs Samsung NU7100 (2018) or Samsung MU7000 (2017). Any ideas?
Yeah I'm between this and the EU55MU7000 - Which is best?

Neither JL nor RS are willing to do a price match. I got an email back from JL declining and stated Coop doesnt have a high street presence, then rang my local RS store to check and they declined stating if the retailer doesnt do a 6 Year Gaurantee they wont price match (what a joke!!!).. Im planning to pop into their local store later today and see what the store manger is saying...
Same tv in Currys is 50 quid more £879.. but again 5 year guarantee. U get the tshirt and i think there may be a 10 pound off code flying around somewhere.
Same as JL if no code
This panel is supposed to be the equivalent of the KS series which was a good panel...better than this year's MU series...if you can get RS to do it for £819 I'd grab it with both hands...and yes the feet can be moved closer together for those on a cabinet type base...

I think RS only price match when the other seller offer a similar guarantee.

I noticed that the shipping is not free (£3.99) with Co-op on TVs above 40".

Who else offers a 6 year guarantee then?

"Similar" doesn't mean "identical". Richer Sounds will match places offering a five year warranty. TPS offer a free seven year warranty on TVs, incidentally.
I’ve just bought the EU55MU7000 via curry’s using price match against John Lewis £739. Reason for choosing Curry’s so I can also get Nectar points. Word of warning you have to use Nectars portal to get the points. So I think I saved a further £10 on points

John lewis wont price match COOP as it's not a physical store
Try using CO20 code for £20 off. I used it last week when buying the xe9005. It also gave me an automatic £50 off with being a CoOp member plus £53 cash on my loyalty card.

10% discount doesn't apply to electrical

HBO86 Go for it. It's fantastic. I compared a lot of tv's. And the Q6 is far ahead of the mu7000.

I downloaded the manual for this TV, and there was nothing about mulitple positions for the stand.
The MU7000 definitely has two positions for the stand, an online video review showed this.
Can anyone who has this confirm?

Watch from 2.55. Shows the 2 leg positions
It's all down to the money I suppose and what you're prepared to pay...in order of quality it's 1. Sony 2. Q6 3. MU but there's no sign yet of any significant Sony price drop despite the newer XF model being out...can't see stocks of any of these running out too soon so if you can wait a few weeks then I would and see what shakes loose...

Thanks, what a shame the manual couldn't simply show both positions.
To all the forum members.... I recently posted a piece about looking for a TV and decided after reading a forum members advice about buying a "Good " second hand one versus a new cheaper model. I followed this advice and purchased a Samsung 40 inch which initially I was very impressed with. Unfortunealtly I was'nt aware of the ongoing problems with Samsung TV's . My Samsung TV developed the ( now I know ) well known problem of the " click, stop and start ). Several years ago Samsung had to repair over 7,000,000 sets with this prob. Whilst I was checking up on this via a web search I discovered that this prob is still occuring on newer models. I duly replaced the offending parts but to no avail and I have just dumped the unit , believe me if you do a web search you will be amazed at the amount of people complaining ( especially in the States ) , some units as little as a few weeks old.
NB. This piece is not refuting the original piece of advice, in my case I just picked a bad make.
The problem is to do with several capacitators being under powered, Phillips TV's have the same prob.
I appreciate that there will be numerous peole here who have had no probs with their Samsung but when the repairs number in the millions one should think twice before purchasing a Samsung TV.
