Q70r does have local dimming. That's why it's better than the Q60r

it does have local dimming 48 zones isnt it?i know thew 80/90 have 200+ zones bu this def has local dimming from what ive read and seen.
just wish it had the anti reflect coating like the 80
I saw this next an panasonic oled with the same demo video. No comparison, the oled was much sharper, more vibrant, blacks were much blacker and build quality much better too. Every Qled looks worse next to a oled from what ive seen.

It's a great price really. Only slight issue for me is the motion on these sets.
I'm looking at the 49" version as it seems the best TV if you don't want a 55". However, why doesn't any manufacturer make a top end TV below 55"? However this does seem a good compromise.

Well they would do... The only thing QLED has going for it generally speaking is peak brightness and lack of burn in.

You're talking about the Q60. This display actually had pretty good HDR performance and local dimming. Just less zones than the flagships.

I bought q67 but returning it because of motion issues. I have flickering and picture judder on auto motion plus on when watching football. But when I switch it off my fps drops that killing my eyes. Do u have same issues on q70?

I haven't bought one yet, just trying to decide. The motion did seem a little off compared to Sony, so I'm going to have another look
So confused.com ...We want a new 4K Tv , However, I watch a lot of sport football rugby golf,

All I hear about with these Tv's how they suffer from motion issues, Is there any 4k Tv's under £600 with good motion handling?

Samsung is the only manufacturer to offer OLED TV'S below 55". As far as I know.

I don't think Samsung make any OLEDs. They are focusing on what they call QLED which is basically LED with bells and whistles. To be fair, according to the reviews, they are good but they just not quite as good as OLEDs. Also, there aren't currently any OLED below 55", although LG are launching a 48" one next year, but that's too late for me.

I'm still trying to convince myself that the LG C9 55" wont be too big, otherwise the 49" version of the Q70r is the one I'll go for. The only downside od the Q70 is the relatively poor viewing angles and would also liked to have the one connect box.
