Genuinely wish I had never bought a QLED had two faulty units both suffered from marking/light streaks or dark streaks due to their led array, there's plenty of posts on Google about it, sure if you want to spend a £1000 and have cash to burn go for it, for me it was the biggest waste of cash and wish I hadn't spent so much of what is basically a poor quality led TV.

Wow unlucky. I have one and it works great. I guess your unlikely to get thousands of posts on Google with people saying they have no problem as usually people only post problems.

True, when it did work I can't lie it was an epic TV I still have the faulty unit as it's warranty is out now. It's not horrible but on certain scenes it's noticeable, the set prior was even worse, like you say I'm probably just unlucky.

Just when I decide to ignore my concerns about OLED and but a C9, up pop this deal.

Yup was just going to say the same. As much as I don't trust OLED with my family's useage, I'd defo not pay more for a Q8. If the Q9 was this price, maybe. . . .

Did you not get a 5 or 6 year warranty with it? Crazy spending that much on a TV and only getting a years warranty

Got five years warranty yes but basically they are saying it's normal with this model apparently, which I argued but to no avail.

Whos the warranty with the shop you bought it from or Samsung? If it's the shop I'd ring Samsung direct or Trading Standards! I wouldn't let something like this lie until it was sorted, you've obviously spent a good chunk on the TV
tbh at this price i would be more tempted to risk a oled tv (i have a high burn in risk due to heavy gaming) purely for the better future proofing of the LG vs the Sammys.

No official EARC support as far as i can see? Seems poor for a super high end tv
Whats everyones view on the not to be used in conjuction with any other offer?

Can you get both the soundbar and £100 off?

I had a Samsung that had banding like yours. I read rub the screen with soft sponge all over helps. It did improve it a bit but not fully
Seems a good deal as you could sell the sound bar for at least £300. However, I would rather they knocked £400 of the price!
