It's this price everywhere so not a hot deal. I posted this TV last week with a free £1000 soundbar and it only got to 81 degrees lol.

Price needs to drop a few hundred now that they have stopped giving away free soundbars

Yes but not guaranteed to get it

Indeed. That's my current quandry.

I can get £1500 of Curry's vouchers from work for £1395, so if the cashback turned up it'd be a great deal.

Curry's are notorious for not paying though.

Was this price last week with a free soundbar. Just goes to prove that black Friday is all that.
If you have access to the Samsubg EPP site (student, member of bluelight or others) this is currently £1349)
Really after this TV. The soundbar offer is still on the website, but there's no stock. Was chatting with Samsung yesterday.

I'd be interested to hear if there's a better deal around.
I got my 4k from currys 2 years ago. Tcb did not track. So I wouldn't count on it.

I'm hoping the deal with the soundbar comes back. That was better. Stupidly I held off thinking it would be cheaper on bf with the soundbar.
Yeah, it was a cracker of a deal. I was one of the lucky ones who got the free upgrade to the HW-Q80R soundbar when the HW-Q70R was sold out at Richer Sounds.

That being said, the Q90R (TV) really is worth it. The picture quality is stunning in 4K HDR, the viewing angles are superb and the anti-reflectivity coating in particular makes it one of a kind. Low December sun is no match for this TV.

I hope it falls in price (or that the bundle will be back at some point) so you get another chance.

Thing is, I'm gutted it doesnt have full hdmi 2.1 support or dolby vision so unless the offer comes back on (which I doubt it will) I'll pass.

Don't like missing out so might have to wait another year.
You're right; DolbyVision and HDMI 2.1 (with VRR support) would be the icing on the cake.

As far as I know, Dolby Vision is already technically possible via an OTA software update (if Samsung decides to throw in the towel and admit defeat in the HDR wars, that is).

HDMI 2.1, on the other hand, would probably(?) require a new OneConnect box and I have no idea how expensive that would be.

It already supports most hdmi 2.1 features. Only missing two as far as I know. Earc and full bandwidth.

Saying that, if it was the deal like last week I'd buy it. Buying it now, I'd feel robbed.
Thanks, I didn't realise that most HDMI 2.1 features (including VRR) are already supported. What a nice surprise.
