If only this was the q70ra I would have bought.
What would be the best 65” tv in this sort of price range?

I tell people that all the time and they just argue with me saying they’ve had a tale for X amount of years and it’s been fine I personally wouldn’t have one with less than 5years
Why worry over warranty? I’ve bought around 5 smart TVs in the last 6/7 years and never had a problem with any, all still going strong. In fact I don’t know anyone that has ever had a problem with a smart tv lately?
Also good deal on this tv with defence discount

In case it goes wrong. Better safe than sorry?

Exactly that, here's my example I'm on my third qled and it's now developing horrific backlight bleed which at first wasn't too noticeable but it's gotten worse it's only been two months since it was repaired and problems are occuring, the other failed within 14 months, just outside a year, without the extended warranty I'd be sat over £1000 out of pocket as a result, not worth the hassle, just get a five year warranty for piece of mind atleast!
Public services card, buying direct from Samsung. I think I’ve heard anyone can get access to these discounts though but it costs £5 for 2 years (possibly?). Not sure, I’m sure someone will be able to enlighten. I’m not sure how much the sound bar is worth in this deal, or the warranty etc but it’s probably similar
