Was looking at this one too. Don't forget £400 cashback if you purchase with a Samsung soundbar (has to be in the same transaction). You could add this one for £219:

I have the 65inch version of this and it’s great (got via my works website with the 50% off sound bar offer) - even the wife agreed it was a good purchase . Good price for the 75inch

Mind if I ask which TV you had before and compared to?
Out of Stock.

How do you get the free 5 year guarantee by Retracare? Is that automatic when you buy?

Had a Samsung 55inch UHD which was about 4 years old. Think it was a J series ? but out and and about and cannot check Real step up. The Q90R (one above this model) has 500 diming zones compared to the Q85R 98 but for me the 85 was the sweet spot as I got the Atmos q90 soundbar for 50% off (which is just amazing) at the same time so both together was in budget - if the q90R is a bit too much the 85R has all the key elements (no gap compatibility, one connect box, improved viewing angle coating, metal remote etc). Hope that helps

Hows motion on it?

Any DSE on the screen?

Thanks. I have the Sony x9305c which is a great tv so just worried I may not be impressed with an upgrade.

You would pay for the soundbar and still get £400 back. Your total would be £1819 paid after cashback.

I dont think so. For the full £400 back you'd have to spend that same amount on a Soundbar

Oh if that's the case, it's a far worse promo than I thought.
I was thinking about getting this and buying the q60 soundbar at £399 then punting it on ebay for £300 . Losing a £100 but getting the TV for £1700 after cashback.

TV has mixed reviews though. Really wanted the Q90
Postage was coming out at £35 from RGB on this for me when I was looking yesterday so I ordered from PRC with free delivery instead, Plus Cashback, delivery won’t be for another couple of weeks though as it’s oos. It’s now gone back up to £2499 with them too now. I went for the Q90r soundbar so £400 cashback.

I messed about too much. Couldn't make up my mind.

Hoping the Q90R will come down in price next week

Only motion issue I have found was when watching sky sports on now tv (the ball at times) but when watching on BT sport no problems.

No dirty screen effect problems. If money no object would go for the Q90 but I really wanted the Atmos soundbar which is just awesome and 65inch screen
This was a brilliant deal as I've had my eye on this one for a while. Typical I saw it after expired.

I asked John Lewis to price match the deal.. and an hour later the price had went back up to £2499.

They finzlly got back to me today snd surprisingly have agreed the price match for £1999.

I'm in 2 minds wether to take it plus a soundbar and sell the soundbar. After the cashback I'll get the TV for around £1750.

Dunno wether to hold off and see if the Q90 drops too.

Whoa! They matched it!
It's a tough call as a really good deal with the soundbar offer. I guess it comes down to how much you want/need a TV right now?

Obviously, we all want the Q90 but currently selling around £3300 for the 75" it's anyones guess when it'll be around a grand cheaper?

I decided I'm just gonna wait now for the 2020 QLEDs to appear and pick one up (or 2019 Q90) this time next year. However, if I had the chance you're getting right now I'm not sure if I'd wait. Best go see one in person and see how you feel.

I went and seen both side by side. The Q90 just edged it.. just slightly brighter looking but I dont think it was enough better looking to splash out all the extra cash. The Q90 stand looks far better tho.. the Q85 stand is horrible.

I cant make up my damn mind aaaargh

Ah man. Dunno what to say other than if you can wait prices are bound to come down so all comes down to how much you want/need it now. I'm sure once you have it you'll not miss any difference to Q90 as you'll have nothing to compare to. I've read the same thing about Q85 brightness. I also don't like the T stand but due to the size the 75" might be the first TV I wall mount.

My current tv is a 50" Pioneer Kuro plasma so am used to amazing black levels so am intrigued by what the 2020 QLEDs might bring for similiar prices. OLED at 75" is too expensive yet and burn in would be a worry in my house.

Anyway, good luck. Lemme know what u decide.

Pulled the trigger on it. Had it wall mounted yesterday. Absolutely stunning TV. So bright it hurts my eyes lol. Glad I went for it
Nice! Congrats! Sounds like you made a great choice. Interesting you say it's very bright as that's one of the things reviews mention is due to the anti-reflective coating it isn't as bright. I'd say this sounds like the best of both bright picture and ARC surface.

How are you finding 75" does it look way bigger or just right? Saw an 85" Sony yesterday in Costco and it really didn't look too bad at all (always look small in big stores tho).

Well I went from a 65 NU8000 on a stand to this 75" wall mounted.. and have to say the 75" looks absolutely massive in comparison. Was really taken aback at the difference in size. I'll get used to it though.

And brightness wise.. when HDR is on I feel it hurting the eyes a little

Lol. Looks awesome! Think 75" will be the way to go for me too then. That brightness actually has me worried as I don't like overly bright lights/screens etc. I may end up holding out till xmas now or see how it goes with offers. Enjoy!
