The specs on that are awful. I feel sorry for the people that spent £549.99.

I wouldnt pay more than £150-£200 Max for that laptop.

Please don't let that put you off posting deals though.

You might have hit onto a great deal and normally half price is a great deal but looks like this retailer just had its RRP too high to make it look better than it really is.

Repped for your efforts!

yes at times but that laptop spec was never going to be worth the artifically high original price. the Sale price is about right for the machine spec.

I voted HOT, its good for a starter laptop

The problem with computer spes and the price of them is that what is "leading edge" now will be "old hat" in a couple of years.

We pay high prices for "leading edge" and then a year later newer technology has come along, and all of a sudden what was leading edge then is now just average.

So a brand new laptop may sell for £500, then a year later you can get the same specs on a laptop for £300

The laptop you have listed is probably 18 months or more old so may (may?) have been worth that then, but even at half price is now not a good deal.

Laptop prices have dropped a bit as well, so now you can get a better spec machine for £300 than this 18 month old model.

But dont let it put you off, I posted something last week that turned out to be not a good deal.
