Just seen these instore at ASDA's Stenhousmuir, also online. Similar to the curry's offer a few weeks ago. Although Only 2GB of memory and intel celeron dual core processor. Slightly less for your money than the curry's deal.

You're welcome

Much better off with a new Core i3 CPU - faster and more efficient than Core2Duo clock for clock.

The i3 has 3Mb on die cache [2Mb] and 4 threads [2] 32nm [45] so runs cooler and quieter and for longer on battery power

Have a look at this Dell for £399 on CPW website carphonewarehouse.com/bro…564

is this a good laptop? and does anyone know any good deals for this laptop but with 3gb or 4gb of memory instead of 2gb?
i am looking for a good laptop for mrs for around £450ish.
