Put an example up here then - I want one if it's cheaper!

Are there any advantages to having an internal blu ray drive?

Was thinking of buying similar spec machine then maybe getting external blu ray drive later on.

You can watch bluray perhaps?

The LED screen has got to be good too!

Simple answer ... to a dumb question

im torn between this and a macbook pro. decisions decisions.

I guess this is another one of these Samsung "LED" cons where the screen is actually still LCD, but just has LED backlighting??

*EDIT* and it seems to be cheaper in quite a few other places e.g.:

]http//ww…420

It's not really a 'con' as there's no OLED screen or similar that's widely available so if a screen is referred to as LED then obviously it must be backlit at least for a while yet.

Hardware specs are ok but far below the best for a laptop and nothing close to a desktop, the screen resolution is absolutely dire for the size though.

John

can get a DELL studio 15" with a Core™ 2 Duo Processor P7350 (2.0 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB, 3 MB L2 Cache) and a RADEON HD 4570 for this price and that's before looking at the 4gb of ram and 500gb HD. I know which one I'd have and that's without any offer on it.

does the dell have blu ray?

]Use this then add blu ray and use 5% voucher and comes to 665 delivered. Oh and its windows 7 eligible . . .
