u wanted to compare prices with another store aka price challenege ?

I trust PC Pro Mag and they were praising the company. They also use google checkout so if you are concerned use that and have their cover too.

Ordering from Dixons (via Quidco) gets a "QC20" £20 off discount code which brings their price down to £500. Add in the 3% quidco @ £15 gets the cheapest delivered price I can find (Just ordered one) so thanks for making me check it out. Rep added.

To answer the other questions i had; there is no difference between the LE37R88BD or LE37R87BDX, it's just the DSG group's number for the same model.

Reviews can be found ]here and ]here.

I found the best prices for wall brackets at ]ebuyer.

I'd rather by the 37R88 from Dixons using the code AW20 (£20 off) + Quidco.

dixons.co.uk/mar…389

Also, personally I think the R88 looks better, as they are the only differences. The R88 has heat sensitive built in buttons, whereas the R87 has a huge ugly power button in the middle.

Also, Dixons are offering Buy Now Pay 2009 at the moment, no interest!

i ordered this from dixons at the weekend......£499 plus cashback.....although it hasnt tracked yet...hmmm

got mine delivered from dixons 2 weeks ago, fab TV :-) hot Hot HOT ! ! !

Hi, I think the difference between the LE37R88BD & LE37R87BDX is the BDX does not have freeview.

Hi I think one of the "differences between the LE37R88BD & LE37R87BDX" is that the BDX does not have freeview

Undoubtedly hot.

However, a pet hate with TVs now is that computer/flash memory is so cheap - why don't TVs store every teletext page that is available so they can be flicked through all entirely prestored?

According to play.com BDX also has freeview.

Good find. I'm moving this weekend, I hope my new room is big enough for a 37"!

Im hoping that there may be a few Easter deals out there in a few weeks so TRYING to hold off....

Does this TV suffer from the infamous "panel lottery".

Im really tempted by this TV, might buy from Dixons, just in the process of buying a house and need the completion date before we can buy much really. The prices seem to be droping everyday, good idea about waiting to see if there is any easter deals.

Am I right in thinking that the Dixons price is only for today?

Hi, does anybody know if this tv has a slot for the Setanta card? Thanks.

This ]review would seem to say otherwise?

Is that the same as a Top Up TV card? This review says something about it (about 1/3 of the way down).

looking at this TV and also the and the sammy LE40R88BD + Sony KDL-37P3020 - 37'' Widescreen Bravia HD Ready LCD TV - With Freeview.

Which would you lot buy?

As neither model is mentioned in this thread you'd probably be best starting a separate one or posting on a specific AV forum.
