Mine arrived today. Looks big. Only had to take back fence and back door off and it fitted in no problem!
Plumbing is the same as a washing machine, so just off to get a valve so I can isolate it when filter needs changing.

Nope. Had to take all the packaging off as well to fit it in. The delivery guys were great though. A cup of tea and bacon roll goes a long way.

would you recommend one then ? have been looking at one of these for a while & Samsung have the £100 off offer payback on till end of June

It is great, kids love the ice maker. There is a filter on it for the water as well. It looks great and the depth of the doors give loads of storage. Just be sure you can get it into your kitchen.

I have been looking for a while, and this is by far the best model for the money. John Lewis want over a grand for the same model.

Has anyone received a VAT receipt from Tesco to actually claim the cashback from Samsung?

I requested one online after ordering the fridge freezer a couple weeks ago and nothing!

It took a while, but i got one after emailing Tesco customer services and getting a team leader, got it within 12 hours for threatening Small claims court, there is a 12 week wait for them as they are processed abroad.

Here is how I got mine after a bit of hassle, threats work! Read from the bottom up

I am going through a similar process right now! And again, I was told the VAT receipt would take up to 12 weeks. Hopefully the same tactic will work though and I'll get it from them soon. I have a while before the Samsung promotion ends, but i'd like to get the cashback sooner rather than later!

I sent the VAT invoice to Samsung, and they now want a delivery note instead ( even after saying a delivery note is not acceptable). I have no delivery note as it was signed for on one of these electronic things the posited have.

I think Samsung are just moving the goalposts to get people to give up on cashback. I won't give up though. Will let you know what Samsung come back with.

I just got my VAT receipt from Tesco. I guess complaining straight to the CEO did the trick!
I don't know if they've just whipped something up to keep me quiet but it's the most DIY looking VAT receipt I've ever seen, even the Tesco logo looks fake!

"Thank you for your recent claim that we received following your purchase of a Samsung Home Appliance. Your claim has been validated and we will shortly be sending details to Citi Bank for your card to be issued to you."
