I've almost bought this 3 times now. I can get 6% off at Currys using my work's gift voucher scheme but I think the longer warranty via John Lewis might be a better option.
Been looking at this tv for a few weeks. Just rang Richer Sounds they will do it for £449. Waiting for JL to email me back.
Don't need apple tv or satellite. Would I be wasting money on this tv.
Is there a better buy for the same price? Thanks
Is there a money back offer since we are expected to put up with BIXBY?
JL have sent me email, they will price match Currys £399.00. Anything better around for similar price?
VA panel?

VA panel?

Yes it's a VA on the 50in but a lottery with the 43in. I've had this tv for 2 months now and think it's great. Got mine from Hughes on ebay open box but brand new for £350. Only downer is the narrow viewing angles that are normal with the va panels but it's an excellent set. Best tv I've had so far

I'm guessing your joking but if you aren't you can disable Bixby if you don't like it. I find it pretty good myself though don't really talk to the tv much. I talk enough to myself lol
Have this TV in the bedroom, for the price, can't fault it, especially with the JL price match
Same price on Rs now but not online and only in-store exclusive which sucks.
What does the UXXU at end signify?
Narrow iewing angles are not great unless sat in front or slight offset is fine, got mine via JL price match then price matched some more within 7 days, thank you John Lewis and Partners true to your word.

Great sound with rumble from bass, quite a lot of light reflection but I assume that comes with the territory of large screen TV’s? Jumped from 40 to 50”.

Overall opinion good quality TV for the price with occasional image stutter, viewing angle is only really aproblem when trying to watch TV from doorway when glancing at news while i’m doing house work, cooking, ironing and dusting.....oh dear I just lied 🤥 about household chores.

Is it really that bad?

Better to make people aware than be disappointed not knowing potential pitfalls on this model.

Next generation TV’s just round the corner from April.
