No need for a firmware update it's easy to sort within the sound settings just alter the audio delay function.

Absolutely, still waiting for it, contacted Samsung & they talked me through all the sound setting adjustments & nothing worked.

Very strange as it worked fine for my sons tv, down 2 clicks on the delay and works great mouths are now in synchronisation with the audio.

I would love to go down 2 clicks, but as the default setting is Zero and the only way is up in increments of 10 to 250 how did you go down?

You can go up and down to correct the lip sync, what firmware version do you have?

i know this one is VA which is a positive, but this is also edgelit, not direct lit like the Philips. also philips is Android OS and has Atmos. hmmm

Well unfortunately i live in a terraced house and not Buckingham Palace
Currys did a price match for this and good price for this spec.
Have the 42" in my bedroom and it's a beauty.

No not that I've noticed. Watching Netflix and other apps the image as seems as good as my 55" QLED

The pqi (picture quality index) is slightly higher on the 7470 and it has an aluminium bezel and premium one remote
