Brought this from play last month for £70.
Nice simple easy to use camera.

Bought one of these for my daughter (14) for Christmas, she was well pleased. Was originally £80, been dropping in price steadily but I'd be surprised if it came down much cheaper than this, not for a branded 10MP camera with 5x optical zoom and anti-shake system.

i love it
gr8 deal
thanx a lot

Condieboy, what do you mean?

My daughter spent her Christmas money on this. It is a great little camera she is really pleased with it.

phatbhoy thank you for this! have been looking for a replacement Nikon Coolpix for daughter, hers was knocked down some steps in NYC and the lens broke!

I assume that means it's no good for taking pictures at gigs then? I need to upgrade my camera but not sure what features my new camera would need, assuming some kind of face detection but not sure what else.

Excellent deal heat added!!! Reserved one to collect at metrocentre 1 of only 5 left...

Nokon Coolpix L16 or the Samsung S1065... which is better?

In the immortal words of the legend Harry Hill.....

"There's only one way to find out..........FFFIIIIIIIIGGGGGHHHHTTT!"

I just picked the silver one up from argos im impressed as most of the cameras in this price range only have a 3 times zoom this than 5 times which is much more usufull.

Also comes with a 2 year manufactures warranty if purchased in the uk or germany, not sure if this applies to amazon purchases so the argos version seems a good deal to me.

This is a good price but it gets on my wick how they expect people to pay nearly 20 quid for a 2GB memory card (see 'Special Offer Available - Click here for details' in red writing) when anyone can get one delivered for under 4 quid on Amazon. It's such a shame people who don't have the internet get screwed over so savagely! Naughty uncompetitive Argos!

I bought one earlier today. So far, very good.

good price ....heat and rep added

Excellent deal my girlfriend has recently purchased one of these from argos about 2 month back its a great camera

it runs on batteries! take about 20 pics then expect to change them! its a shame the spec is real good otherwise, what a let down!

My daughter took around 50 photo's (all with flash) and a couple of videos on Christmas day, using the standard alkaline batteries that came in the box, battery meter was still showing full. She took more photo's over the next couple of days, all indoors so all with flash. Battery meter still says full. Either the battery meter is faulty, or it's not as hungry on batteries as many would believe. I also bought 4x Duracell 2650ma rechargables, which should give plenty of power.

Now gone up back to £68.00
