Curved around your eyes for the ultimate viewing comfort

• 4000R Curvature: The optimal curvature to ensure comfortable viewing on a 27" screen, delivering a wider field of view that's easy on the eyes.
• Cognitive Research: Experts have found that people perceive curves as more visually comforting than hard lines and angles. Simply viewing the curves of an object triggers relief in the brain.

Brilliant picture quality from every angle

• Best-in-Class 3000:1 Static Contrast Ratio: More vivid than conventional monitors to provide truly brilliant pictures with deeper blacks, pristine whites, amazingly bright colours, and less light leakage.
• Wide Viewing Angle: Delivers a 178° wide viewing angle horizontally and vertically for optimal viewing experience from any angle.

Take your entertainment to new heights of immersion and comfort

• Game Mode: Instantly adjust your monitor settings for an optimised gaming experience through the on-screen display. Game Mode improves the darkness of the picture so that you can see all the action vividly.
• Fast 4 ms Response Time / 60 Hz Refresh Rate: See even the fastest on-screen motion clearly and smoothly without any motion blur, judder or ghosting.

Like a contact lens? Doesn't sound comfortable.

just what i needed, thanks op. hot hot hot

looks good.. thanks

I have (and like) my dual flat screen setup of 2 x 24in screens. If I bought one of these curved screens, would I be better going back to a single, bigger screen?

Has anyone tried two curved screens side-by-side. I think it might look/feel a tad strange.

Not too sure about 1080p on a 27" screen - much better if it was 1440p at least. 1080p simply doesn't cut it anymore with 25"+ screens

Poor choice of words on a Samsung deal!

If it's anything like their Note 7 it will get very hot.

Not unless you are going to get one with a higher resolution than this, it's only 1080p. So dual monitors will be better for productivity. If you are mostly gaming this wouldn't be a great choice of monitor anyway imo.

If you're looking to go to one monitor with productivity in mind it would be better to shoot for a 1440p panel, or perhaps better still one of those ultra wide monitors (again 1440 vertical would be ideal).

Any sound on this ? (Apart from usual response to Samsung products - "Ahhh ! It just exploded into flames !!!")
Samsung phones, and Whirlpool manufactured tumble dryers.......oO

Really, there's nothing wrong with 1080p on a 27" Screen. I'm using a 28" 1080p Monitor to type this and I cant see individual pixels at around 20 inches from the screen.

Yeah 1440p would be nice but good luck finding a Branded 27" Curved 1440p VA screen for £129 - you're looking at double the cost of this at the very least.

Hot from me.

No stock, expired

damn, discontinued!

As a graphic designer and photographer, 1080p does not cut it on that size of screen. Having said that, for the price, it's a cracking screen (no pun intended).

I paid £200 for it in January

Good monitor but the problem that annoyed me was you have to put it in game mode why this wasn't a single click feature i dont no. You have to go through the god damn menu to do it, has to be done everytime you want to game. You can leave it on game mode but then the screen is not set right for browsing etc you cant change any picture settings when its in game mode had no option but to sell mine.

Good price though.

I rather have a 4k screen at this price than a curved screen which does nothing other than eye candy.

I have two of the 24" version of these as a dual-monitor set up and they are great and I paid £20 more than this when I got them about six monts ago, so this is/was an awesome deal.

I was disappointed to discover after I'd bought the 24" version, that they came with a separate power brick/psu instead of kettle lead into the rear monitor like every other monitor I've ever had.

So iy might be something to consider if you want less clutter on or around your desktop environment. But at this price, I think it don't matter a lot. LOL
