Generally looks the same specs as an S3 classic at first glance? KitKat pre-loaded. Not a bad phone even for people like me who prefer to avoid Samsung and their bloatware etc! I think it's dual SIM too, according to another page but might be several variants?

Thanks must have knocked it as I definitely selected mobiles originally...

no worries

Noticed it has Qualcomm processor instead of Exynos, and 1.5GB RAM instead of 1GB. Graphics processor is weedier though I think.

Hmmm, interesting never heard of this model.

Note other sites suggest there are both 1.2 and 1.4GHz variants though some only mention 1.2GHz - CPW site states it is 1.4Ghz.

Get a g2

If you can get one great. I would too, but some might prefer expandable storage on the S3 neo which the G2 doesn't have.

Can confirm UK stock is 1.4ghz quad core.

Saw this didn't think it was a deal!

you're entitled to your opinion but it's a better spec than the 2014 Moto G apart from the screen size (res?) for similar price...liking a decent camera, I'd go for this over the Moto G 2014 as the 2013 G I have has put me off their camera capabilities, while the S3 is a decent snapper (my wife has one)

neo is Samsungs lite for flagship phones. ie. specs not nearly as good as non neo.

Have a look at the specs for yourself - it looks pretty good on paper.

I haven't looked at the Note Neo but I have looked at the s3 neo specs vs the s3 classic

1.4Ghz vs. 1.4 GHz (and I thought Qualcomm chips were actually better than the Exynos in the classic?) - 1.5GB vs. 1GB, but I think the graphics chip is not as good.

phonearena.com/pho…330

NB there are 1.2GHz AND 1.4GHz variants of the Neo according to other sites and CPW have this down as the 1.4GHz.

So yes this doesn't look too much of a poor relation...

screen res? on board memory? i'm not saying it's terrible, just considering cpw had s3 at 169.95, this isn't really that good a deal. also, running quite a dated version of Android now. Personally, i'm very happy i managed to get a G2, if I hadn't, I would have just gone for the Moto G 5 incher. I'm a bit over samsung phones, too much redundancy with stock android i feel.and overpriced!

exactly, i just mean 'neo' really means 'lite' which really means 'not quite as good' - not terrible no, but def not as good.

I meant I can't comment on the Note Neo. If you read the spec you will see in some ways the way S3 neo is better than the classic I(including KitKat out of the box, more RAM, better chipset)...

Good phone, mostly comparable specs to the S3 better in some ways not quite as good in others. Kitkat 4.4 which is a bonus. Let's face it if you're after the absolute latest tech then you won't be looking at either this or the standard S3. For what it is, it's a good price.
