Heat for the NP300E5A, thanks for posting

Thank you. Just ordered one for my Girlfriend.

Cheap and cheerful. I think this is a great price even for a refurb of this spec. Don't forget TCB, you get 30% of ebay's revenue which should come in for an extra £10 to £15 off :-)

I used purchased the Samsung Series 3 NP300E5A-A01DX at £272.99 via TCB. It claims to give 30.3% cashback of ebay's revenue. However, it has only tracked as £2.12. If that is 30% of their revenue then 100% of their revenue is about £7.07. And £7.07 is about 2.6% of the total £272.99. By my calculations, ebay should be getting a lot more revenue from a laptop sale at £272.99. According to this: pages.ebay.co.uk/hel…tml, they get 40p for the Buy It Now insertion fee and then 10% of the final selling price which comes to a total revenue of £27.70. Therefore, my cashback should surely be for about £8.31. Can anyone tell me if my calculations are off or confirm if they are correct and I should be submitting a ticket? TIA

The fees you are quoting would apply to punters like us selling on ebay. Companies like Currys will be able to negotiate much lower fees.

My NP300E5A-A01DX arrived today - the power socket is damaged as though someone has pulled the power cable out at an angle, so it is very loose - it'll be going back. Disappointing.
