you can buy the phone for £69-£99 pounds

Where and how?

I got one of these unlocked from carphonewharehouse (£80) , great for texting but hopeless in every other way.

Avoid at any price.

I think the point here is that with the cash back and the quidco you would be paying just £35 for the phone over 18 months (thats £1.95 per month) and you get all those mins and texts.

This is a good deal if you know what your doing with these cashback sites and you make sure you get all your money.
buymobilephones are a good company too so you know they wont go bust

Sell the phone and you have yourself a sim only deal which costs you nothing!

So with such a cool response .. do I take it :-

The phone is no good ?

The company reliability / cashback promise is questionable ?

or both ? :?

It is actually a very good deal - its just people on here dont vote these cashback deals hot.

The company is actually a very good one and a major player in the cashback market

I guess it's what I highlighted in your quote.
I didn't vote either way.
I've done loads of cashback phone deals over the last 7/8 years, sometimes three at a time for the family in any given year and never had any problems with getting the cashback payments.
I only did business with Carphone Warehouse companies though, such as e2save and The Phone Spot.
I've not done any contracts for a year now as Asda PAYG is cheap enough for me not to need cashback deals any more as I hardly use my mobile. Emergency use only.
