It's cold because most will think the post as the link below is better deal for those who don't need unlimited minutes or 3gb data.

hotukdeals.com/dea…130

and if you can get away with 2gb data you can have unlimited minutes and texts for less on mobiles.co.uk deal. It's the second item in the list and total cost over 24 months is £579.00 which for me is a better deal than the one posted and I don't need 2gb or unlimited minutes.

Looking for an S7 myself so well aware of the current deals. If the one I mentioned hadn't been posted a couple of days ago then this deal would probably attracted heat instead of being left out in the cold.

At least this guy managed to add a picture of the correct phone, the other deal shows s7 edge and probably got most his heat from people just glancing and not clicking the deal
Heat from me

You have a good point although my days at just looking at pictures have long gone lol. I didn't even notice it was a picture of the edge as I just read the description. I suppose it depends on what you are drawn to but if people who voted hot had seen the picture of the edge, especially people with younger eyes than mine, may have thought the deal is for the edge and not the standard S7.

£624 is a ridiculous price for this phone.

Yes but the £351.00 is for a second hand phone from 02 where you have to mess about cancelling the contract etc etc. A lot of people can't be bothered and just want it working out of the box. It's second hand because they have already been sold and returned under distance selling. Whilst I agree there may be nothing wrong with these it is still not a brand new phone as it has been tried by someone else, no different to a demo phone in the shop. It's difficult trying to get a comparison with unlimited minutes as that's more important to me than data but at say £10.00 a month for a sim package that's £240, which makes a BRAND new S7 Edge £383.76. Personally I would rather pay that for a new phone and not have to mess about requesting an unlock code and then telling 02 I don't want their contract and then have to pay them £351.00 today. A lot of people don't have that sort of money but are happy to pay £25 / £30.00 a month for 2 years.

Overall this isn't a bad deal for an S7 Edge. I haven't given it heat because it's still too much money over the term but there will be 1,000's of people out there who will be paying a whole lot more.

Reasonable counter argument.
Well thank you. My son taught me it's good to look at different options and views but I agree this is a lot to pay on the deal posted. I have had top end phones for the last 7 years and the most I have ever paid was £25.00 a month which is where they should be. Technology should be getting cheaper and not more expensive. If Samsung are not careful they will end up pricing themselves out of the market especially as the cheaper phones catch up technology wise. I am looking at a deal on an S7 Edge if I can find one that is acceptable. Samsung are really exploiting us at present with the cost. It's ironic to think I can buy a 50" tv for the same price as one of their phones. Doesn't seem right somehow yet there are not many of us who look at changing our tv every year or two. I paid £25.00 a month for a LG G4 that came with a free smart watch. Over 24 months that costs me £480.00 which has nearly come to an end. I sold the watch on ebay which generated £150.00 after fees and postage. That was a good deal which for me was for a phone that was equally as good as an S6 at the time. It's a low minutes and data package which I have exceeded on occasions but £480 less £150 less say £100 for the phone second hand means it's cost me nett £230.00 over the 24 months. I don't think that's too bad. If I had an S6 it would have cost me more than that so sometimes weighing up the competition might not be a bad idea. Ihad previously purchased HTC and Samsung phones but the S6 was too expensive in 2015 so went for the LG. It's a nice phone and can't fault it even though it had the boot loop issue it was sorted by LG no problem. We will see where the S8 and LG G6 compare before I make a decision on an S7 Edge.
