£720 for an old phone

Can you find me a SIM only deal for 30GB unlimited texts and mins please and tell me how much that is over 24 months? Then minus that cost from £720 then youll get the price of the phone! If you need help with the maths just let me know and Ill sort you out!

Don't worry Ill do it for you - Currently THREE has this on for £18 a month but you only get 600 mins...

£18 * 24 = £432 - £720 = £288

So that's £288 for an old phone (Possibly £248 if your quidco tracks) - You were close though!

I don't like the bloat on Samsung phones but I had this phone and have seen the S8. I prefer this and just because it's a year old doesn't make it bad! This is a good deal!

Sorry this is cold

Its cheaper to but the phone outright from here

https://www.eglobalcentral.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge-g9350-32gb-dual-sim-4g-lte-sim-free-unlocked-gold-en.html?gclid=CMztke3cwtMCFQoA0wodXiUPWQ#/product/17488
Then use a 12 month pay monthly sim in.
Yes, its a 24 month contract i get that, however will still work out cheaper getting a new sim and going over 12month contracts not 24.

On Android go into settings then App and you can turn off a lot of their own apps, will keep them on using space but they wont be in use!

That works out MUCH more expensive over 24 months I'm afraid

£439 for the phone
24 months of 30gb contract = £432
total cost £871 and your not getting unlimited calls too

Im with 3
I get unlimited minutes, txts and 30gb data for £9 a month on a rolling 30 day contract. Now YOU work out the maths
£9 x 24 = £216 + a samsung s7 edge for around £400 works out ALOT cheaper.

Well that's not the deal on their website , you cant judge things on a personal offer you have received you need to go on whats available now

three.co.uk/Sto…nes

This is a deal...effectively £288 for an edge is awesome... just I don't need 30gb of data. Hope to find a cheaper line rental component with lesser package with the phone working out to £288. That would be great.

PS your phone cost and SIM plan still works out at £655 which is only £25 cheaper than this deal too if quidco comes off - And this way you are not paying a lump sum over... don't know if £25 is ALOT to you but it doesn't seem like that much ?

If you think £25 isnt much of a saving then sorry you shouldnt even be allowed on this site. If you save £25 or £1 its still a saving.

HA! Its a saving but I don't have £439 to buy a phone right now and the SIM only package you speak if isn't available too! So its a bit of a non starter!!!

E2global sell grey imports. read up on their reviews. terrible cs if your product develops a fault. wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Yeah I know how to do it. Just sold it and bought a 7+ instead. I'll only buy Pixel, OnePlus or iPhone now though. Possibly a HTC if they keep up near stock android.

Also the only way you're getting a £9 deal with 3 is on retention now. I sold this phone for £400 last month second hand. The SIM only is £26 a month. £624 just for SIM so the phone costs £96. Find me a better phone for under £300 please nevermind £96. I say £300 because even if you got discount on the line rental you'd still have to buy at least a £300 phone to half compete with S7 Edge. People just see Samsung or Apple and 3 and vote cold rather then look at the deal.

Finally don't quote eglobal for prices...They should be banned! Nothing against Chinese sites (even posted the mibook air from gearbest myself but not those cowboys)

I posted a deal similar to this one and at the time was the cheapest deal available for an s7 edge on contract. It needs to drop well over £100 over the 24 months for it even to get luke warm unfortunately. 30gb data would be no good for me whatsoever as everywhere I am there is wifi. Give me 3gb a month and drop the monthly price to £25.00 and I will be buying.

Its weird, 8Gb would PROBABLY be enough for me so you could get the deal on for £28 a month, but for £2 extra you feel like you may as well get 30GB! Contract prices seem like they are all over the place at the moment. You used to be able to get a good new phone for £35 ish, not they are up to £49 for decent data on new releases. But one year old flagship phones are still really good so to me this looks like a great deal for people who would use the data. I'm torn between something like this or a small data package and saving videos/podcasts/music before I leave the house but scared I wouoldnt have enough data still for just browsing!

I still don't think prices have adjusted for the release of the 8 Series Galaxies. I think the prices we are seeing now are still just normal depreciation over time. I'm expecting better deals over the coming month...

I'm not sure the s 6 deals are still rubbish now. Samsung holds its price pretty well

I consider £35.00 a month a lot to me for a phone but although I like my high end phones I am not a high end user. I have wifi at work so just don't need a large data package and if I want music I can just play it through my pc. The boss doesn't like me watching movies though whilst I am working !! Consequently I don't use hardly any data. If I'm not at home or work on wifi I am driving. I just spotted an S7 edge for £28.94 a month which suits my usage so it's getting there. Will see after Friday where the S7 drops to.

I got this deal last week for the blue model. Love it! Heat added.

if you do a search and look back at s6 deals around the time the s7 was released there were quite a few good ones posted. Generally prices were around the £300 mark, and that was sim free I believe. I imagine there will be a small window where prices drop a bit more than what they are now for the 7 series, like they did for the 6 series, but go back up and seemingly be holding their value well further down the line...

True but the S7 Edge is a much better phone then the S6. Mainly those deals were on the 32GB version with no expandable storage. The S6 wasn't a popular phone with most Samsung fans because they took away expandable storage and the battery life was rubbish. The S7 Edge especially will hold its value for longer.

Hmmm... I may take up one of these deals then, if they aren't likely to improve much, seeing as I'm very eager for an s7 edge!

It's still a good deal but it's an essential plan whereas i would personally be looking for one with an advanced plan with 'feel at home' for abroad use to several places. I'd easily trade in at least half the gb on offer for the advanced plan

Sorry for the delay, just saw this. Yeah the advanced plan means you can use data, minutes and texts as you would in the UK in 42 countries. I've only ever used data though so would need to read the small print re minutes three.co.uk/Dis…ome
